for you, i would recommend something really short in the back. swept-back hairstyles like the ones you want are pretty ugly, in my opinion. for bangs, i think i'd go with a sideswept bang. your hair seems pretty straight naturally, and that would work well with a side bang. or maybe go for just some shorter pieces in the front, going over your forehead (though make sure it's pretty choppy so it's not like a bowl-cut front).
your hair would probably work best with choppy layers, cut with a haircutting razor. if you're cutting your hair yourself, just know some basic things: such as don't cut pieces horizontally, cut them at an angle almost parallel to the hair; use an electric razor to trim up the back when you cut it down to a shorter length; etc... however, if you really want it to be good, then you'll have to go somewhere to get it done. i'd recommend that, since haircuts really aren't that expensive if it's simply cutting it (not, like, coloring or anything).
