I see where you're getting at, just been browsing most of them, it seems as though this was just about the best way to get a first warning to get banned for not reading carefully the rules or whatever, so to avoid pointless spam they closed it. It is a shame though... however, I have to say the answers i DID get to my post (my very cool post lol) ended up being slackers from which i never had news... sucks, but ya, I see the point more and more
Now, not only is this the best topic of the day, but it also has the credit of being answered by the one who asked the question ;) isn't that a wonderful world!

I made a topic about this a little while back, basically its gone and the new rules are to just make an advertising topic in the appropriate forum; ie web designer for hire goes in Computers and Web.

I think there was a forum announcement somewhere too, but I can't find it. Carius is correct.
