It's 4:30 here, forgive me if I am a bit incoherent.

Back when they were pretending to be lesbians, it was essentially their manager Ivan forcing them. He recruited cute underage girls who could sing, with their future image already in mind. Once in the group, the girls went along with Ivan's demands. They had their future popularity on the line - but more importantly, they were young, Russian, and female. A better set of circumstances for submission couldn't exist in modern western society.  

As we all know, this lesbian facade eventually came to an end. We can all agree that they should have given up on the group then and there. But for some reason they decided to continue with the rotten husk of their band, and now they're creating tripe like this. Not to mention the fact that they're going entirely against their previous fanbase with this, fully embracing male domination over the female body. They must be entirely out of their minds - it's not like this was the best move for them if they're just out to make a few bucks. Unless, of course, they've got another russian papa pulling the strings.  


For those of you who like them for their sound (when in Russia - note that they sound entirely different when creating an album in America), try looking for some early 21st century Europop.  Their sound isn't entirely unique to them, and a lot of European artists tried some similar stuff at the time.

The song was inspired by a poem written by a Russian fan for tatu... it had nothing to do with 'someone at a record company.' They don't have to sing anything they don't want to sing, they have more control over the things they do then you think. And some people like techno pop, biiiiiiiiiiiich.

They got rid of Ivan... They wanted to pursue their careers in music with their own ideas... they were not intended to be a gay group from the start, either. That image came with ONE SONG. All the Things She Said... That was it... Also, the girls are like sisters... they do love each other... why should they split?

Every 'big' mainstream artist has something to do with someone at a record company and yes I know they have their own company but that doesn't mean they are fully and utterly independent.

It's a very common idea amongst pro-choice people. It's saying that anti-abortion essentially gives the woman no power over what's happening inside her, no control over her own body. I'm not going to debate this further, we all know it wouldn't be worth it especially here.

I think I could have lived with them if they'd maintained some sort of rebellious empowered thing, but after this I'll never be able to listen to them seriously again.  I've got a weakness for foreign pop, but I don't think I've ever listened to a band of young women denouncing abortion and I see no reason to make an exception here. It was bad enough when they came out of the closet as straight folk, now I feel they've hammered the final nail into their coffin.
