freedom of speech is not a license to be ignorant and get away with it. it means you won't be prosecuted for saying something, it doesn't mean better people than you can't let you know exactly what they think of you and your bullshit. in most cases, the issue isn't that you're speaking your garbage, it's that you think it. and when we argue with you, we aren't trying to beat you into submission, or simply shut you up, we're trying to get you to appreciate our side of the argument.

Now tell me something. If a child refuses to be adopted by gay parents because they're gay are they EVIL too? And what if some other accepts but then other kids make fun of them in school so much they commit suicide or something like that? Wouldn't it be easier to just disallow it so that other kids will have one less reason to make fun of them?
