i think he meant the general idea of OUR WORLD DURING WW2 being on the other side of the gate but also there was a little bit of nazi germany at the end of the series too.

I watched a few episodes of Kemonozume, seems pretty good! At first I was worried because it started as a dojo of special samurais with a secret sword ability to defeat demons UH-OH, but it's good so far despite that
