Flatscreens do that. They can have lines that appear to slightly jitter, specially in high contrast areas. Especially prevolent when in lower resolutions. I've notice it in environments with a lot of interference with the power. I can't say I honestly know what it is, though.

degeneration is probably one of the first games I ever really played all the way through on our first computer. it is really great! please someone link me to it. I miss that game so much.

Oh, no one guessed mine. It was D/Generation. And awesome top-down DOS puzzle game that came on the Challenge Pack II.

I basically grew up on D/Gen, Contraption Zack, Ringworld, and Commander Keen.

I have no idea what CP2 is btw, I have this on floppy disks.
