Help help with castlevania sonata in red (Read 545 times)

ok im stuck in castlevania sonata in red.in just starting the cursed chambers and theres sone purple flames blocking the way.if anyone knows anything that would help let me know.thanks.

I think it's that rpgmaker castlevania? Yeah, it probably is.

Hello there!

To remove the purple flames you need a relic that is located in the Cursed Chambers that allows you to kill the red demons. When you kill a red demon a secret in unlocked in the room, look for them.

For the blue flames in the center-part of the area, you'll need to get 5 specific Red Orbs and use them in the 5 orbs in that room.

This is such a wonderful game ... I have hit only two glitches all the way through, one was where I got stuck coming down a staircase and couldn't move, and if I'd had sense I'd have used a magical ticket to get out of that. The other one, just happened, is weird ... after completing Boss Rush 3, every time I get into battle it says my condition is "petrified," and the sprite is showing in the petrify condition, but my speed isn't affected. Unstone potion does not help. I can't recall if I was petrified at the end of the last of the Boss Rush battles - maybe.

Like I said, it isn't affecting anything (except nobody can really petrify me now), but it's just strange.

Edited to add: I'm back to "good" condition in battles. Didn't see when it happened, but it's a relief.
