New footage starts at the 3:00 mark.

So after the amazing amount of dev time this game has gone through, it looks like this is the real thing.

After the crappy trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWuteFLUPSY) I had my doubts of this being good or even coming out this time, but after this new footage, it looks PRETTY GOOD, and I'm sure I'll enjoy it as long as it is Duke Nukem.

Now that it's been so long, I would expect that it would be more than just Duke Nukem 3D II, but in all honesty, I would be just as happy if it was better than most of these mediocre FPSes that have been coming out as of late.

Genius Rockman haha. It's still just Duke Nukem, if it comes out I'll play it at least, I mean I'm curious about this game knowing it being in the making for 10 years!

So you didn't mind at all that Doom 2 was basically a Doom 1 expansion? Then you should be satisfied with playing Plutonium Pack as Duke Nukem 3D 2.

Of course any sequel to duke nukem 3d will be valid to call duke nukem 3d 2, you see.

I really wanted this to be a styliish cel-shaded thing. It's the only way to bring the cartoony graphics of Duke 3D into the current gen. RIght now, it just looks like generic FPS 62. Still looking forward to playing it though. To be honest, I'm more excited about playing Duke 3D on XBLA.

I think it will take 4 hours to finish but it will occupy 20 gbs

It looks good but it doesn't have the duke nukem feeling. I mean it's pretty generic and TOO DARK and all and I don't think it would be as awesome as the 2001 trailer.

when it came out it blew the mind of all the middle schoolers and now the only reason anyone (like, I seriously wager a good 90%) even cares is because of how insanely long it took.

There are two reasons I'd care: nostalgia, because Duke 3D was like the second FPS game I ever played, and I played a lot of it back in the day. And two, like Steel said, because of how long it has taken to come out. You can't help but be at least PASSINGLY interested in a game with a history as long as Duke Nukem Forever, even if that fascination doesn't extend beyond WHAT THE FUCK HAS TAKEN THEM SO LONG????? For a game to be in development for over ten years, STILL in development, well.. I can't help but wonder.
