i honestly spent hours searching google, but I can't find the thing I'm looking for.

So I learned that to use PHP with access you need to have the obdc. The problem is, i can't find it(if it even exists in my pc).

I'm on windows xp pro. I'm not sure if obdc or administrative tool is only for 2000 or other windows version?

I'm obliged to use access database.

I'm not POSITIVE but I think this is one of those things you can install if you stick the Windows XP disc in after Windows is already installed. You get the option to add/remove additional stuff and maybe the ODBC thing is one of them.
