I was looking up the new Two-Face teaser trailer when I discovered just how much work this Viral Marketing Campaign has to it's name, for those who don't know, what that is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viral_marketing. In short, it uses commonly used mediums or in other words the internet to advertise for a movie, product or similar.

Heres a bunch of sites I've found -

http://www.thegothamtimes.com/ - Looks to be a newspaper of some sort, so far two issues and I've read some things on it and then I found the following sites from those little articles.

http://www.citizensforbatman.org/ - Vote Yes! on proposition D!. This even has it's own forum with posts from "Gotham Citizens".

http://www.wearetheanswer.org/ - Looks like more about the Dent Campaign.

http://maidenavenuereport.com/- Website mentioned on the Gotham times in an article.

http://www.gothampolice.com/ - Obviously the Police department website.

http://gothamnationalbank.com/ - Bank website, I'm guessing Joker robs this in the film.

http://www.danaworthington.com/ - Another candidate for the DA, it seems.

http://www.rent-a-clown.com- Disturbing.

http://www.rememberinggina.org/ - A site about the article concerning a murder of a 16-year old girl, from the gotham times.

http://thehahahatimes.com/ - Gotham Times, Jokerized.

"Real-Life" Version of the Gotham Times.
http://www.slashfilm.com/2008/06/17/a-new-package-from-gotham-city/

An example of the "Rent-A-Clown", seems people are expecting calls from "The Joker." This is getting crazy.

There is likley many, many more around. Post any here, man, this movie better be good!

Considering that I've been looking forward to this film for a very long time, this doesn't do anything to help the waiting process :(

Does anyone know where the film actually has the premiere screening in the USA?

If it's in NYC I plan on attempting to get some autographs.

It's shown in advertisements on some of the other sites. Doesn't seem to be anything interesting unless I missed it tho

I went through the records with basically every character and the only one that I could find anything on was Salvatore Maroni.
A marriage certificate is available, but do it yourself, I won't spoil it. Not that it's some huge thing.

ps. i just found out barbara gordon is in this movie

People waiting for The Dark Knight got a nice treat tonight from IESB. They have 12 clips from the film, around 30 secs each. No spoilers. I'm linking to my favorite of the bunch: Heath Ledger's Joker talking about dogs and sending a message ;)

The rest are on the right side.

They just posted 8 minutes of behind the scene footage at the same link.  Look on the left side for updated news.

I didn't wanna make another thread for this, but I just got back from seeing it.

I had some issues with it to be honest, but all in all most of it was fantastic (Heath Ledger especially). The plot was great, the action was solid, the setting was nice, plenty of nice turns, the length was very suitable (didn't bore me at all, it felt a lot shorter) and fans are definitely gonna eat it up.

I had a couple of bones to pick with some of the dialogue (Wayne's disguise voice, after a while) and a few quirks the movie had but I really can't complain as it's definitely a worthy successor to Begins and it continues the recent trend of good to great superhero movies.

I live in Australia so much like it was with The Hulk, when movies are released 'simultaneously' we get them roughly a day early.

haha my favorite thing about batman is probably his disguise voice. it is ridiculous and kind of fun to imitate, even if it grates after a really short time.

the release date in australia is the 16th, which is today (or yesterday for ptizzle)

Australia gets everything last... why the hell do they get The Dark Knight like first? Outrages.

I'm really excited for this! Anyone else seeing it in IMAX? Supposedly it's amazing.
