Its so cheesy, the rose, the quote everything.  :gwa: He wrote songs like that and wrote shit about killing you and your children and your childrens children.
Biggie was faaaaaaar superior imo and I dont know one song by 2pac better than a BIG song, if only Oblivion was still here me and him love to argue about this. He thinks PAC is the best hahaha I've read peoples comments on youtube saying shit like "HE MAKES ME BELIEVE THERE IS SOMEONE IN HEAVEN AND MADE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE, BLESS YOU 2PAC".

Well to be honest.. I just thought it looked cool haha. I would say Biggie had better flow and was more "gangsta" in his lyrics but 2pac doesn't just rap he spoke of real things, experience, and was even poetic in some ways. I like Biggies music, got nothing against him, he was fucken awesome.. 2pacs better IMO though.

Ive read those type of comments to, makes me laugh. People take it to far, I mean the guy wasn't a Prophet and HE IS DEAD!!!

continuing 2Pac derail, anyone interested even remotely in Pac should read Michael Eric Dyson's essays on him, they are illuminating as fuck.

continuing Soulja Boy derail, yeah he's pretty untalented but he's funny and flash in the pan, don't get so worked up about it. I mean fuck he's challenging ICE T, who does that?

Fuck Souljah Boy, 2pac all the way.. I mean Ice T. Wasn't Ice T in West Side Connection that alone should give him the respect he deserves from that little shit.

Nah he wasn't. Ice T still deserves a lot of respect though, he was really one of the first artists to bring gangster rap to the forefront in my eyes.

Personally I don't like the music from either of them much (especially Ice T's recent stuff as far as he goes, it's just all round poor and we've all heard Soulja Boy) and I think this feud is a bit silly because nobody really likes Soulja Boy. He's just a kid who played with FL, made a dance and got signed by Collipark off internet hype and I certainly don't think he deserves all this 'hip hop is dead!' stuff put on him. I think people like Dem Franchise Boyz, D4L and all those nursery rhyme snap groups are much worse because these aren't 17 year old kids having fun, these are people who actually think they're making good music and are really too old to be having lyrics like "C'mon trick, c'mon trick, here come mr chocolate". If anything is really hurting hip hop it'd be people never buying CD's, but really there's not a lot that can be done and people just like to whinge about that and crappy music (ignoring every genre will have its shitty mainstream artists) so apparently that means 'hip hop is dead'.

basically the profound influence he had on hiphop and the black community in general. Dyson's a pretty engaging writer so he makes a good case for it.

Wayne sold a Millie.

What does suck is that Soulja Boy went well over triple platnum (counting physical and digital copies sold) and Lupe only barely went platinum (counting physical and digtal).

I'm surprised people actually went and bought his album. Most "ringtone" rappers have popular singles but really poor album sales (The 'Aye Bay Bay' kid comes to mind).

I had a dream about Ice T except I called him diggity dawg.  And he came to my house to see a UFO that crashed in my kitchen.  He actually came back a few times for ridiculous reasons.  Then Jay Z and someone else came and were like "hey can we see it too" and I was like uh, yeah sure come on in.

It’s good to hear a young man rap about out dancing someone like some old school hip hop, versus lying about what car he ain’t got and acting like his a big time dealer, or a pimp. Ice you do your stuff & and let Soulja Boy do his thing.

By "do his thing" do you mean "write up some new ringtones and pretend like he's top of the world when he's not"?  And by "what car he ain't got" you mean "actually Ice T could probably own whatever car he wants and actually does decent music"?
