Alrighty then. Today, I was freeing up alot of space on my machine when I started through other shit. I came across a Temp folder located in C:\Documents and Settings\Shon\Local Settings\Temp
This folder is about 4.5 gigs. That gigs.
My question to guys: Is it safe to delete all the contents of this Temp folder or are there important anythings? I know, though, that over half of these files are unneeded, but I want to delete all the files inside.

Thanks in advance...

Maybe you should download CCleaner.  If your Temp folder got that big, who knows what other junk you have just sitting around taking up space.

SWEET CHRIST, Man-O-War! After running that program... 10,462.3MB to be removed. (Approximately)
 :fogetgasp:
Now I'm a bit scared to delete the files in case it picked up any system things... Well, I've got nothing to lose, I hope.
Thanks for that program, Man-O-War.

Since we're on the subject, I highly recommend a program called WinDirStat. WinDirStat goes through your whole hard disk and shows you where most of your space is being taken up, and even creates a cool treemap of your disk. Try it!

Wow, that treemap is awesome! Now I can go straight for the largest files right away, and have a GREAT idea of what's really taking up so much space on my HDD. Thanks for showing me this. You should definitely post about it in the freeware thread.

EDIT: wow, found my old steam dir buried in obscure folders. That alone was 14gb
