seriously I could never get into the Coen brothers, they're style and story telling is so boring and plain. Take Fargo it seemed so interresting but ended so boring and dull, maybe I just overlooked allot of themes but whatever.

Also Cameron Crowe has allot of average films but Vanilla sky was just great..... Roman what did you think of that film?
so you've come here for pointless ego boosting and happy sunshine glee? this aint deviantart man.

I've only seen parts of it and I thought it was pretty unwatchable.  I mean the IMDb plot synopsis makes it sound like the type of movie I would enjoy but I couldn't really get past the shitty music and some other stuff that I can't remember right now.  But just in case I downloaded it and I'm going to give it another chance but I fully expect to not like it.  WE'LL SEE I guess.

Yeah the soundtrack was actually to good for the film, every scene had like a epic pop-icon song.... however it was Camerons idea to put in as many references to popculture.
The film was rather hollywood-ish but I think that in this case it really worked, if it was too; "hollywood" for you I suggest Abre los ojos, it is exactly the same concept just a different director and penelope Cruz is still in it  :naughty:

I am guessing that the synopsis gave away the ending?

This guy is the best, by the way.

Anyway, short answer is that everything about the movie sucked; long answer coming after class.

I couldn't enjoy that movie. I tried really hard, but the movie tried harder. The movie tried too hard. It just tried too hard... way too hard...
Also, here's my list:

1. Coen Brothers (Big Lebowski, No Country For Old Men, Fargo)
2. Wes Anderson (Rushmore, The Life Aquatic)
3. David Fincher (Zodiac, Seven, Fight Club)
4. Stanley Kubrick (Dr. Strangelove)
5. Steven Soderbergh (Oceans 11, Traffic)
