I saw Shutter last week. It really wasn't good. This black-haired Asian evil spirit chick trend where all of the villains look the same really needs to die out. It was only scary in The Ring. The Grudge was...okay, but the rest of 'em sucked.

Have you ever seen Ju-On? Or Ju-On 2? I have to say that the Americans did the first one MUCH better. (sad isn't it...)

Well, the original trailer looked pretty dire, but the red-band trailer (featuring all the gore) is fantastic, so I'm in two minds about it.

Also The Grudge was terrible.

I saw the first one, because it was the original and usually the originals are always better...but I enjoyed the American version a lot more. At risk of sounding shallow, the Japanese version just looked cheap, and I got bored about halfway in it.

Then again, I was fourteen, so... Maybe if I saw it again, I'd think differently of it.
