maybe jfkjdlafsd asdoaina is one too but that's not too specific to gw.
Asdoaina is a word which represents lkjdfldj or adfsafsa.
it is a pretty fantastic word because it combines the random typing look with a pronounciation that imo accentuates on the -AINA, which sounds pretty distressing.

other words of that time are
beah beah

bouheauhea
(a kind of laugher. to me it is a cocky sort of laugher)

fgono

I am error yesok

Adding t onto the ends of words sometimes so you come up with stuff like "hellot" which I have seen a few members use around here, I think.

ah yeah, ending with -r, -s and -e
I used to do that as a targ technique (not with -t though)

Quoting a post without adding to it, to emphasise a point.

Even though I don't post much, I still develop habits of using "GWISMS" elsewhere and it confuses people!

yeah going to other communities with this shit gets kinda weird.

also i don't think many people do that QUOTE, ADD NOTHING thing.  that is more of a trend among shitty forums, i would say.

No man, I've seen it around here a lot! More often than usual lately to be fair but there is a lot of that going on around here.

"THERE IS NO FUCKING E IN RIDICULOUS" doesn't work too well in other forums... you get warned...

People don't understand what you mean when your mood is "just ate a pinecone"

We are unique in the fact that no other forum is called "gamingw".

In all seriousness, we are a very diverse bunch, which appeals to almost everyone in some way or another. Such as whether you want to talk about religion, video games, making video games, vegetarianism, abortions, politics, movies, art, music, weird things, etc! Also, we have people from all walks of life come here? I don't know, I mean I guess there are plenty of fairly diverse forums in that aspect, but this one is one of the more extreme ones I have seen.

honestly i don't think that empty quoting happens THAT much at GW compared to other places. for example reading stuff like comedy goldmine topics at SA (especially if they are about art) can be really annoying because they are REALLY long but only because about 3/4 of the replies are just quotes, although sometimes there's a short, worthless response like "lol" after the quote.

Nothing beats the power of 'fafg' and 'you're 13'. Which I use IRL. :)
"I think EVERYONE here on GW has to have cranked one out over Pulits or Trujin before. How's it feel, guys?" - Christophomicus <--Feels great, btw.

GW is the only community I attend and I notice it a hell of a lot, mostly in the Crap Shack and Topics of similar nature but it's a GWism of ours to do it in those sorts of boards/topics.

GW has the unique ability of gathering together for one purpose. for example, the 1st GMJ topic was amazing. everyone knew what was going on simply because they understand GW humor. there was nobody going like "i don't get it??" and "if ur making fun of them than ur mean so stop"

i think it's kinda interesting how some people have a really different persona when they're in the crap shack/post 9/11 world.

and another thing is the nesting of parentheses (like this (i think steel started this? (but maybe not) i'm not sure))

also, i like how we call certain people by things other than their usernames. this kinda just shows how tight-knit our community is, because we remember the past usernames of people since we've known them for years. for example: steel, kaworu, panda, etc...

GW = debate hell. there's always a majority, and then one or two people who see it differently. the majority insults them, and the topic gets locked.
the people of GW are all pretty decent, intelligent people though, which is really cool.

GW's cool because we generally don't type terribly. people know how to spell, use grammar pretty well, etc... and there's not even any exceptions, really. that's cool because now when someone posts with bad spelling/grammar, it's often pretty funny. on purpose.

meh some of those things were a little hard to explain and possibly not all-too-unique to GW but whatever.
semper games.

yeah I agree with mkkmypet on the debating. I've never really seen a good debate on this forum becuase the majority of people agree with everyone (or decide not to disagree). Those that disagree in attempt to create a two sided debate get shouted down and told they're a horrible human being. I believe that nothing is black and white and sometimes I think a lot of people here think that they are. like "No. That is wrong. This is how it is."  You kind of accept that it's just how GW is. It would be nice sometimes for people to accept that other people may have a different opinion on things and try to understand what's going through their head in a productive manner, rather than being hostile.

For the most part, we avoid "owned" and "lol" and "XD" and all that net-crap. People who do use that stupid stuff are usually ridiculed. That's pretty cool.

I agree, we're most certainly more sophisticated then most forums  :drwily:

Let's see, some prominent acronyms being used here are "tbh", "imo" and "idk".  Then you have the Os in "also" and "so" being drawn out for no real reason, question marks and periods sometimes being substituted with exclamation points, etc.  Then of course, there aren't many people here who use emoticons - which is good!

I do agree with Lyndon about the "you're a deplorable human being" stuff, though.  While it makes sense if someone is spouting off some racist crap, I definitely see "horrible person" being used for trivial reasons as well.  It kinda loses its effect when more than half of GW consists of horrible human beings!
