The Foget pips are really neat and fun looking, but in all honesty.. Making them in an attempt to have them used as GW's "official pips" won't work.

But still, good work. They look neat.

If the foget pips idea pans out, I'd want psychoskull to make them, because while halibabica's pips aren't bad by any means, they're too rm2k/3ish in that they look like sprites out of an RM game... and since a great majority of the forum has moved on from RM sprite head pips doesn't seem like such a good idea.

Agreed. Doppleganger has the best simplistic style that's aesthetically appealing both from a casual and design-oriented standpoint (if that makes sense). Most of these just look too amateur-ish or way too RM...which, as Mateui already stated, we've all outgrown...

only on gw could you have so much drama over pips.

Interesting that people have complained about sprite style Fogets yet sprite style legos are alright.

Foget's got a lot more detail to him than a lego brick, Rockman. It looks a lot more cluttered when you make a small foget face than when you make a simple lego brick.

As long as there are Foget smilies, Foget will remain ruler.

I think the lego pips are still the best new ones so far. They work well, save space when stacked sideways, and still have something to do with GW (even though I have no idea how GW became associated with legos in the first place).

I think it's because of a lego avatar that Bart (the site founder) had for a while.

Didn't say nothin' about detail. The pixel based style just looks a bit cheap and not in keeping with the rest of GW (even Godpuppet's foget emotes don't look that pixelly because of the nice shading etc.)
