It will be hard to find a song which isnt on youtube, I dont mind though if you just post saying what you are listening to but yeah the other topic is dead so yeah this is a replacement.

There are a fuckton of songs which aren't on youtube, plus songs on youtube get deleted constantly.

Still, having a what song are you currently listening to would be pretty pointless if others can't listen to it too so it can't be helped I suppose. Maybe you should add that myspace/other places with music are allowed too?

I didn't think the Buttholes were that noisy anymore, though! I dunno, I haven't checked out their more recent stuff but I heard they were more 'slightly weird MTV-friendly generic rock band' now than 'fucked up psychedelic noise dudes'. If they were still as weird as their early stuff then I'd be well up for it, but I don't think they are.
But yeah, Shellac take priority for me anyway, though.

thank god its happening to someone else, but its only on some videos. like i all the cartoon vids in catamites' article didn't work except for like one. I have no idea what it is but its super annoying!

This started once I switched to FF3 but usually reopening it works.

hey tophue that ryan adams vid is really good ive watched it like 50 times since you posted it. i dont much care for the rest of his stuff on youtube although he does a couple duets with elton john that are pretty nice.

Like I'd never bothered with Ryan Adams and now I think I will! Also the cool thing about Beirut is that I think Condon's vocals come out pretty well in live performances, unlike a lot of other singers I like, even though the instruments often sort of drown him out a bit.

Anyway I mostly use Youtube for live shit so this is what I am listening to now:

The Faceless - The Ancient Covenant

I remember when I first heard this song I thought it was pretty weak and to slow. After listening to it for a good while it has grown on me tremendously and now I'm looking forward to the new Faceless album even more. I remember being really annoyed by the vocoder part at the end, I don't mind it as much now. The riffs from 1:00-1:20 is so tasty.

The progression of the song. At first I thought it just kinda fell flat a little and seemed to drag on. Specifically the solo right after the intro. It makes more sense now that I've had some time to listen to the song more.

EDIT: I don't mean the actual speed of the song.
