question: was volta ever any good? cuz people like RAVE about them but i checked out their last album and idk it seemed pretty poor to me. is their earlier stuff any better?

their first album has some pretty good songs on it but yes they get progressively worse and i think after the second album it's just 100% crud

he has a certain range in which his voice works, but once he goes too high above it it gets awful and unfortunately this is most of the time

yeah, i definitely agree. his spanish vocals are way better! also the past two albums hes been singing waay too high, though on the new leaked track they're not quite as ear splitting so that is good

It's some remix Aphex Twin did of a Luke Vibert track under a secret alias called Tahnaiya Russell (who is also some real person I dunno). He is also Brian and Karen Tregaskin and like 50 other aliases or something like DJ Smojphace or something too

but yeah I like how crappy it sounds and like the weird drum shit that sounds copied/pasted in. I think he likes pretending to be some unknown aspiring techno musician who can only afford used Casios and stuff

oh yeah there was a point to that story like I heard that remix mentioned on the Wikipedia page one time and I kind of just forgot about it and then one day I find it on Youtube (there's also a bunch of internet dorks making fake aphex tracks as Brian and Karen Tregaskin and stuff so I ignored it for a while thinking that was supposed to be Karen Tregaskin) and then I was like oh crap this is the track and I don't even know if you can find it on MP3 or anything Youtube's made finding music 100x easier basically
