Wouldn't mind entering the Brawl Tourney, if I only could get off the Mario Kart Wii a little. (Can we have that in TOO?  :naughty:​)

Got to win a medal for CANADA for SOMETHING!!! (6 days and no freaking medals! *sigh* Come on women's soccer / softball teams!!!)  :shocking:

Can we do a game trivia contest? I think it would be cool (but if nobody else wants to do it then it's obviously not!).

I'm sure people here could come up with stuff that you wouldn't be able to find on Google and so on. Maybe even something like guess the screenshot or whatev. I used to run one on another site I was on and it always got a pretty big response.

Seeing as how we tote this community as a locus for game development, I'm surprised that there's nothing on there about... y'know.... making games. A short game design competition would be welcome, I figure.

mapping/brawl maybe/speed run, I made a post earlier but I guess someone either a) replied before me and I didn't notice, so it didn't get posted, or b) it got deleted, which is kind of random because it was fairly benign from what I remember

That would be pretty bad, because as I said in the speedrunning thing, there's people who have played games like geometry wars TO DEATH and are always and forever going to be far superior to guys that don't have it yet

Agreed.. Plus I suck at Geometry Wars. Need a fair game.. Something anyone can just instantly start playing.

Well, there's the mapping event. I think it's better to go with mapping because it takes less time than to make a game and there was a game design competition pretty recently. Short game in one map could work though.

I'm definitely going to take part in Soldat and hoping to take part in some other events too. SSBB and maybe mapping, TF2 and speedrunning although I suck in TF2. :(

And Tetris if we get that.
