well, i'll post some stuff directly off the geneology study i obtained from my grandma's house.
my great-great-great-.....-grandmother was Pocahontas's husbands' brother's sister. so, Pocahontas's sister-in-law.
on my mother's father's mother's side, my family is directly descended from the Pettus family line, which contains some notable people. John Pettus was knighted for "outstanding loyalty to his country". a few generations later, William Pettus became one of the first people from England to set foot on America as an original colonist of Jamestown.
on my father's mother's side, we come from the Terrells, after whom
Terrell, Texas was named. they were mostly Norwegian, with a bit of English.
my mother's mother's family contained the McKittricks from Ireland. also, my great-great-great-great-great grandmother on this side was 100% Native American, and she married an American who came from England.
my mother's father's father's side was made up of infamous thieves, bartenders, and bouncers. they were very rough people. however, many of the people in this family line, including my grandpa, were part of the
Freemasons.and finally, on my fathers' father's side of the family, there were many artists. for hundreds of years, it had been tradition to name your first born son something that started with an "A", and also give them the middle name "John". that tradition ended with my father (Thomas John (whose name is Tom Krusz, haha)), but started again with my oldest brother, Alexander John. all the people had been named things like Arthur, August, Augustus, Alexander, Aaron, Aiden, etc... but my grandpa said, "the minute we saw your father, we knew he wasn't the type of person to follow traditions. we decided not to name him an "A" name at the last minute, right when he was born." my grandpa was right. every first born male had become an artist down to my grandpa. my dad became a computer security guy.
also, my friend Allee's grandparents are the Irwins. her cousin was Steve Irwin, the crocodile hunter. also, steve irwin looks exactly like his grandma. disturbingly so. she lives a few blocks away from me.
so yeah thats about all i have to say uhhhhh
