ok guys i'll be back on in like 9 or so hours. if you guys are all on we should run through that dungeon area if we have a party makeup to make it through all the doors, and at least get to Level 3 today.

INCOMING MEGA NERD QUESTION: Are there RP servers?

I downloaded this expecting very little, but I was pleasantly surprised. The combat is smoother than in most MMO's (after the debacle that was Age of Conan, Im surprised to see an MMO get the battle system right).

Right now I just finished the two tutorial dungeons, and I have absolutely no idea where to go. Do I just "adventure" randomly at this point? Level up? I'm in this dull down wandering at this point. ( I guess The Preview weekend of warhammer online spoiled me a bit)

The guy right outside the tavern has a really good 3 part quest you should take. It's really just questing (crafting doesn't come in til raiding) so using your radar (you can expand it and hit the drop down to find what all the icons mean) is really helpful.

EDIT:
UPRC Thel is considered an RP server by the player base. It's not officially one so Turbine won't do shit if someone isn't RPing, but a good majority of the players RP their asses off. It is not fun being a Warforged on that server, since all the RPers are pretty much racist towards you.

There's a radar? Nothing ever appears in there for me...

Well, if its a PVE centric game; I suppose it still has merit being that it's more innovative then that other game that I'll not name.

this game is super fun i am really impressed. it does not feel like an "mmorpg" its just like a normal, kickass RPG that is online. great fun.

dude just reroll and you and me can party like right now!! (sides you were only level 1 and it won't take long to catch up either.)

Its really hard to get into this game. I mean, there's just nobody to play with. The streets are empty, aside from a few people who didn't really seem that interested in talking. I think I've spotted three actual players while aimlessly wandering around town looking for stuff to do.

I got into this quest in which a pack of kobolds came and thoroughly molested my robot type avatar, then I got into this mind numbingly easy solo dungeon that was repeatable.

It's a group game (it's D&D).

The early solo stuff (solo quests) are all fairly easy, but a lot of the quests are meant to be played at group difficulty with other players. Gimme your char name and I will add you to the guild on Argo. If you're still up and online in like 30-45 minutes or so, we can party if you want? Because that is where the game shines.

EDIT:
Also consider its fairly late and the population of the game isn't WoW or anything so there is less people. A lot of the higher level players are in other areas and a lot of the people up now are just straight up questing so people don't talk much this late.
