Season 4 starts tonight with a 2 hour premiere at 8/7C. (In about 30 minutes from now)

Use this thread to discuss the episodes as they air. Obviously almost everyone knows the biggest and most exciting piece of news about this coming season concerning a certain castmember, but I'll still spoiler it for those in the dark and who don't want to know.

I don't know what season 4 is about at this moment because I've been staying away from spoilers myself for the most part, but I can't wait to discuss the premiere with you all after it airs. Here's hoping that it'll be on par with season 1, or at least as good as season 3. I think we can all agree that season 2 was kind of weak for the most part.

Man i'm hyped.
I have no real way of watching it in the uk, with it being on a chanell i don't have, but i intend to anyway, through other means.

Really enjoyed everything up till now but this is where they prove if they're going to run out of momentum or not. I've seen the trailer and it looked pretty good but time willl tell.
End of the day, Alexander Mahone is badass, so as long as he's there they cant actually make a bad programme.

I have to say that this premiere was AWESOME.

I love the new direction the show is going in - very Ocean's 11-esque. I can't believe that (character spoilers) I seriously laughed out loud at the "you ate bad Mexican?" line....  T-bag continues to amaze... even when he's out and about on his own.

I was surprised at how fast the plot developed and when things started to get accomplished. Unlike some other shows Prison Break really doesn't have much filler. It's always go-go, and even when you think that the show is slowing down that's the moment when you're being provided with info that will later come into effect - giving you that classic 'I should have seen this coming!' feeling.

The writers have really found an effective way to draw out this season and I don't see it becoming boring. Now that we know that there are This season is not about breaking out; it's all about breaking in, and I like that change a lot. It keeps the same basic feel of the show alive but changes it around a lot that it seems fresh.

Well I thought the whole thing sounded pretty retarded on paper (omg they broke out now they're going to break in) but it was still a good premiere. I'm just worried because the whole thing was so on that it'll just be downhill from here, but maybe not. I think the third season was pretty bad because at least the first season we got all these new characters and it was like 10 different subplots but they forgot that when they were in Sona (sp?) and it was just like oh wow another episode of not getting out of prison. So even though I didn't think of that it could keep things going because we can expect a minor success every one or two episodes

also black assassin dude with the perfectly geometrically trimmed beard is a cool new character

yeah my only complaint is a lot of things happened very suddenly that they kind of didn't have enough time to sink in like whoa whoa oh yeah and

also were we supposed to know all those people the assassin guy tracked down or are most of them just random people

also bad Mexican is the worst joke ever I felt like I was going to go straight to PC Hell

Didn't these guys break out of prison three years ago now or something?

I'm going to make a show called "Stranded" that will be about a guy stranded on a desert island, but he'll be rescued halfway through the first season and then for several seasons afterwards (until the show dies), he will lead a normal life in New York.

I liked the premiere, it wasn't amazing or anything but it's definitely a step up from the third season which seriously didn't go anywhere for like 10 episodes. Like Mateui said, the premise for the fourth season is good, although it could get boring if not done right.

Season 1 was still by far the best season of the show. It was just too epic, the entire 22 episodes led to the epic finale, you can't top it!

Season 2 I felt was sort of going no where, meaning every episode was spent being chased by cops a thousand times. Somehow, it was still good just because it hooked you in... "will the be caught?! Gotta watch!" essentially...

Season 3 was okay, I didn't like it too much mostly because I'm a fan of Sarah and Micheal, haha. I just didn't feel the URGENCY of the need to escape as great as it was in season 1, where Lincoln's life was on the line. I guess I don't care too much about LJ, since he's sort of become a secondary character. And Sarah was already "dead".

One thing I don't understand about Season 3... why didn't Sarah CONTACT Lincoln or something after she escaped!! I mean seriously, why not?? Did the writers overlook this?

Season 4 seems to be on an epic start. To TAKE DOWN THE COMPANY, like the development of the final showdown. I have faith they will pull this off right!

Episode 2 (oh, yeah 2 hour premiere means that what I watched yesterday was actually) episode 3 discussion:

- Kind of disappointed at this episode at first, but now looking back I'm relieved that they didn't get disk 2 (honestly that would be way too fast!). I don't really like the Boston Public guy (sorry, can't remember his name). His character is just dumb and typical annoying law enforcement dude archetype. Meh.
- I laughed at Sarah's 'brought me back from the dead' line. I love it when writers poke fun at themselves.

Episode 3 was pretty good. Once again i find myself hooked. I wonder if this'll be the last series though.

Really dislike the assassin.

I have this suspicious feeling that somehow Gretchen will lead to the assassin's demise. I just sense a complete character reversal with her. They'll have us cheering for her by the end of the season no doubt (until Sarah and her meet up and Sarah beats her with untold fury).

Oh man, Prison Break is so badass. I loved AXE WEILDING Lincoln, hahahaha. It was awesome, he's such a manly brute. Also, him and Mahone's new friendship is great.

So far, I think this series is a complete mess. I think it's cool that Prison Break completely changes with every season, but I don't like how this season's going. I thought it was gonna just be Michael on a quest for revenge (quests for revenge are ALWAYS great!), but they just plucked some half baked idea out of their asses to collect the whole cast together again. Pfft!

And the whole Sona thing! They just did away with it like it never existed! Last season, it looked like Sucre was heading for some deep shit, but no, Sona just blew up and eveyone is free all of a sudden. Pfft. Silly silly silly.

And bringing Sarah back. It was like all of the writers came round my house and start kicking and pissing on me! A total insult to people with brains everywhere!

I have this suspicious feeling that somehow Gretchen will lead to the assassin's demise. I just sense a complete character reversal with her. They'll have us cheering for her by the end of the season no doubt (until Sarah and her meet up and Sarah beats her with untold fury).
But Gretchen's like four hundred and six times hotter than Sarah, so she'll win instantly!

One thing I don't understand about Season 3... why didn't Sarah CONTACT Lincoln or something after she escaped!! I mean seriously, why not?? Did the writers overlook this?
'Cause when the writers killed Sarah, they killed Sarah. There was no intention of bringing her back until all the (stupid) fans started crying about it. If you ask me, the writers should've stuck to their guns and kept Sarah dead. The Michael out for revenge story would be way better for season 4.

part of the problem is those "stupid fans" actually stopped watching the show and shutting down their online communities due to the fact the show was brutalizing women over and over and the ratings took a hit as a result. bringing sarah back was a cheap way for them to say SEE WE DONT KILL ALL THE GOOD WOMEN, as is their CHERRY HILL spinoff news.

seriously I'd pretend the writers of the show had some integrity if they demonstrated the slightest bit of WRITING ABILITY to begin with but nope, HERES BELLICK HES FAT AND COMPLETELY USELESS BUT HELPED SUCRE SO...HERES BELLICK. or just HOW sarah came back (she was hiding from the world's most dangerous assassins at her dad's friend's house).

this show is awful I kind of love it.
