This is amazing, I've always been interested in this case, it's been like really one of the BIGGEST unsolved unknown cases in quite some time. To think it's been 40+ years and it hasn't been solved and 3 cryptograms haven't been figured out is really amazing to me.

I'm kind of excited, I've always wanted to know what was up with this case.

The dude in question was cremated, so they can't get any DNA off of him...damnnn, that's pretty smart if its him. They'll have to get it off of postage stamps.

So, if they do find out it's this Tarrance guy... what then?  Are they going to arrest his ashes?  It's not like they can arrest his step son and even if he were alive there's a statute of limitations or something.

It'll help bring some sense of closure to the families of his victims. It'll confirm that the kiler isn't alive and out there still etc, etc.

Yeah, it's just about closure. The big mystery might come to a close.

Man, at first I thought it said Jack Torrence, like in The Shining, so I thought this was a joke.

But didn't they allready lock a guy up for this that looked like the sketch and his schedule was conclusive to the killings but his handwriting was off?

"She sat there and told me Jack was trying to kill her and I didn't listen. I can only imagine how she felt. Imagine how scary that would be. That is what kept me going this whole time,"

Who wouldn't listen to that? Idk, this seems to fishy. It sounds like either he wanted his stepfather to be the Zodiac Killer, or his stepdad wanted to make everyone think he was the zodiac killer. I mean, he "found" a knife covered in what might be blood that belonged to his stepdad? Who keeps a knifed covered in barbeque sauce blooooooood?

"Just recently, Kaufman remembered his stepfather asking him several times about an old PA system, which led him to take it apart."

What was he asking about it? Hey, that PA looks cool, maybe there's some kinda hood in there with a zodiac on it.

dont mind aztec, hes the local forum troll.
