wow James Bind is still the best thing ever

there are seriously so many useless features in that game probably in part because I had no idea how many people would be playing/if rpg maker games have REPLAY VALUE like regular games/how much people would give a shit

the run-down building has so much weird pointless shit in it. The bathroom with working mirror and toilet, I forget how you accomplish this in the first place but if you manage to be STEALTH and sneak past the two guys you can alert them to your presence if you flush the toilet. Also if you kill the guy while he's on the stairs there will be a special death animation/ instant/stealth kill. I forget if the other guy dies instantly by stealth too like some metal gear shit there is also a basement area with extra loot although in retrospect I should've made it full of rooms an a real extra area maybe. But probably nobody found it anyway. Also you can backtrack into the building if you get a certain key which is also obscure how you go about finding it. There is also a COIN EXCHANGE system because quarters were the equivalent of RE ink ribbons in the game and I wanted to let the player decide between saving often/goodies but you can save right in that area or the next one so it's pointless feature

but for every totally esoteric thing I think there's some cool stuff. Like the AI-controlled partner that only gets used once. You can also heal her during the fight but lol bug I guess if you heal her once and she dies she's not really dead and you don't have to worry about losing from that. The machine gun is mostly useless the whole game would've been more playable if there were a bunch of guys who spawned and were relatively dumber/easier to hit but more of them. But I think I wanted to recreate the whole Goldeneye quasi-stealth aspect - or maybe it was just a huge pain to code every last bad guy because rpg2k didn't have any object-oriented shit like all enemies are capable of this pre-coded set of actions. Also I was the first guy to implement lighting effects it's true (actually this might be close to true the game's hella old) you can turn off the lamp

Edit: also if you try the stealth kill thing you should punch the dude because the other guy will hear gunshots whether it's you or the bad guy. You can also shoot garbage cans and make noise

is it even clear if you don't equip anything in the menu your guy punches everyone instead?

Sorry if my response is so late. I didn't have access to my computer for a little bit as I was away, and so finally read your post yesterday, SegNin. I thank you for all of the links, but the link to download Captain Cool, which I tried to download yesterday, didn't work. When I clicked on the "download" link(Stahnout Hu), it said something like "401 gone" or "not available" or something. So I guess I must request for another source to download this game from.

Also, I have noticed that The Chain Game 3 and Alex 3 are now available to download on these forums in two threads, but that still leaves Final Fantasy: Blackmoon Prophecy hanging. I would possibly be satisfied with the early version on Atelier.net, but there must be a way to get the latest demo version of the game(funny that I believe the creator of that game started this thread). If there is, than that would be much appreciated.

The Captain Cool link worked for me, but I uploaded it anyway for you.
Also, there's a MIDI and Mp3 version of FF:BP, so I uploaded both.

Thank you for those uploads.

I just have a few more requests to make, and than I will be done for now.

1. Above and Below- a RMXP game that I cannot find.

2. What I believe to be a horror game that I downloaded at some point which has HFYGS as the title. Not too sure about what the "acronym" stands for. Something about Darkolic RPG, an Imni and Poit production are also in my files but so many files are missing that it is hard to tell what this exactly is. I do know that it is some kind of a RPG Maker game because of the mapping system and the RPG RT "configuration settings" file that doesn't reveal anything. I've tried many ideas but none of them seemed to work.

3. Legacies of Dondoran 2 for this Release Something! event. I also cannot find this game.

1. Above and Below

AFAIK, there's only been this demo released for it:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=I2034ACW

2. Is this the game? HFYGS: The Craziness Begins:

I found a copy of it here:
http://www.freewebs.com/ffsilver/

It's either the same game as yours or it's sequel/prequel.

(And I have no idea what the acronym stands for either)

3. Legacies of Dondoran 2 has never had a demo released (AFAIK).
Otherwise it would have been uploaded here:

The Legion Saga Z link in the rare games list no longer works.

Googled it, found a working link: http://www.queenscourt.org/games/Legion%20Saga%20Z.rar

This is the 3rd version of the game.

The 4th version used to be on Liquid Motion:

It also used to be on the rmgamearchive.

Thanks!
I've got another more difficult request, I'd appreciate any help in finding this game.
I believe it was called "Final Fantasy: Eversoft" only one demo was released and it
was for RMXP.
It used to be on the RPG Maker website War of the Magi.

Your welcome Ranmaru.

And now I've got a request:

EDIT 6/15 --

Request cancelled.

It seems that I have the latest public release of SpireBattle after all.
