Man, what do you guys have against weezer? I think they have a pretty sweet retro 50s or something vibe with the harmonies and I actually dig his voice a lot.  I don't like pinkerton or really any of the newer stuff, but I like the green album, blue album and maladroit a lot.

<edit> Also whats the whole "inoffensive" bit being tossed around.  Do you just mean unchallenging musically?  Non-innovative?  boring etc?
I hate Rivers Coumo and Weezer is just boring as hell, the only excuse for liking them is that you're not over how awesome the blue album seemed when you were 13

yeah inoffensive is a way of saying music is something you dont necessarily like, but if someone you're with puts it on you wont demand that they change it because it is god awful like you would if it was Nickelback.

God I hate Nickelback so much.

I don't mind some inoffensive/uninspiring/unchallenging/whatever rock music if I'm in the mood for it.

My enjoyment with Third Eye Blind stems from pure nostalgia.  I actually went on a whole 90's nostalgic music downloading binge, and had some good times.  This was like middle school days for me, so it all brings back some memories.

Some other 90's bands that really bring me back:

SMASHMOUTH (catchy as hell)
Hootie and the Blowfish
Offspring
Creed (makes me cringe now actually)
Dave Matthews Band

I imagine to many of you, this is the most obnoxious playlist ever, but this is what I was listening to back in the day.
keep posting...

Man, Third Eye Blind is fantastic, I'm surprised. It's quality pop music. Jumper is a brilliant song, imo, and how's it gonna be and never let you go are all just a part of my childhood, I guess. It's simple, but the guitar riffs are so recognizable, and it MAKES ME FEEL GOOD.
