Oh I remember this guy. This guy is really talented, and if I recall he's self taught too, so more power to him.

Reminds me of the most epic entrance song for a wrestler in an NES game

Edit: Haha he sounds pretty awesome (I mean his voice)

Timabland would either try to hire him and then if the guy says no he will just steal his music anyway so no big deal. "Throwing fire" is a cool track man.

just fyi his cd is boring as shit.

its much better to watch on youtube because to paraphrase something I read you really get a kick out this ecstatic little gnome pounding away at the keyboard.

Hmmmm yes, some decent beats.

I'd have to say I'm more fond of his licks though, certainly a skilled flava-smith

basically the problem with jenkees is that while he's really technically impressive there's no real reason to listen to his songs because they are mostly beats and he has no rappers over them (except for the two songs where he raps which are pretty lol) or any samples. since there's no real overriding melody the most interesting songs are the cover songs because otherwise it just sounds like someone who is really good at fruity loops messing around.

seriously nothing on the cd is worth dancing or even head bobbing to pretty much, but he's really fun to watch on youtube because he's so into it.

I always prefered stuff like this instead of him doing boring hiphop beats.

throwing fire is absolute class. but i got ahold of his cd (ILLEGALLY!!!) and it really isn't that great. if he produced songs with his beats, i'd probably like his stuff a lot more. super fun and stay crunchy are the only tracks i ended up keeping. the rest of the songs were just beats.

Really fucking amazing. Throwing Fire reminds me of Ratatat, except better.  He's got some really awesome melodies as well, and potential for a career in this sort of business, composing tracks for vocalists.
