okay so the other night my firned made me sit and watch the entire season up to now (i think i mtnetioned before that he met ken at some smash tournament so has been really into survivor)

i REALLY dislike the SHOW itself (hey 50% of each episode is stock footage of wild animals!! how cool!) but i somehow found it entertaining anyway. i loved how ken absolutely played everyone and he has been so VITAL to the last few people being eliminated. the game is all about ken and sugar.

This is becoming the best season ever. Move over PI... hopefully the next few weeks continue the moment of greatness.

I was watching it before the office since I was bored. I haven't seen any other episodes but this was absolutely awful.

Giving up the fake idol was dumb as hell! He gained nothing from doing it.

he gained more than you might think. he instantly became sugar's bestbuddy and now suddenly has a MUCH BETTER shot at being in the top 3. if he hadn't done that then he would have sealed his fate with randy.

unless everybody suddenly realizes how powerful ken is, the next to go is going to be corinne (possibly matty but i think corinne has no chance).

really sugar and kenny have so much power. this show started off REALLY BORING and it STILL IS (animal stock footage yay) but it is getting interesting as hell and is unpredictable. the way bob used the fake idol to fuck with randy didn't do anything CONCRETE but it really alligned him with sugar and she is so strong in this game that he now has a chance of going all the way because of that move.

I guess don't have a concept of his relative strength and shit but still, dude could have just started to wear the fake idol right? or let it slip accidentally that he might have it? That seems like enough to really fuck with people. No one would feel safe voting for him even if they questioned the legitimacy of the idol.

Or they can do what they have done in the past and trick him into thinking he was safe, and then voting him out, or they could trick him into playing it while voting for another to flush it out, or they could completely dismiss it because everyone knows that Sugar has the idol.

Ken has become too cocky. I'm actually hoping that the rest of his alliance turns on him and votes him out. For someone claiming to be a mastermind he stupidly voted against Matty when he didn't even need to. A 5vs2 vote is the exact same thing as 4vs3 when the idol is played. He didn't need to show his hand but he just did. I hope that Susie, Matty and Sugar turn on him as a result.

so i'm glad that crystal went. even though i have been routing for the ken/crystal/sugar alliance since the beginning, i have really liked matty for some reason. i know the show is really PRESENTING HIM as such a great guy especially after the PROPOSAL last week, but what can I say - it worked and I'm glad that Matty's still around, even though Kenny's my number one guy.

unfortunately this means that I doube kenny will make it all the way. the winner is going to be either bob or sugar.

Yeah, I feel the same way. While I used to love the Sugar/Kenny/Crystal alliance, over the past few episodes I've been getting sick of Crystal and Kenny thinking that they run the whole game. I'm glad Sugar turned on them by giving away the idol to Matty. I really wish she would have targetted Ken instead because I feel like she would have had a better shot against her in the F3.

Well, the finale's on Sunday (and unfortunately I'll be in the Dominican Republic then, but hopefully there will be a tv there so that I can watch it.) I really hope Sugar wins (even though it is looking unlikely). Oh well, as long as Susie doesn't win I'll be content.
