yea but like I said, actual DRM is impossible at the moment. this is why i am against DRM right now, all you do is hurt the consumer. it is impossible to have DRM that is uncrackable, and the only way you can have DRM that I would support (ie: one that doesn't hurt legit consumers at all), would require so much reworking of OS's, game's, etc and involve a lot of changes that no one wants to do. You need a way to track at an unknown unchangeable key code level who everyone is, and bind games purchased using a key that is generated at only the exact moment it is needed, use the internet (not everyone has it.), and so much other stuff just to make "perfect" DRM.
EA is really dumb about this, and I wish more companies would do away with DRM. i mean come on, Spore had its DRM removed before it was released officially by piraters!
the only DRM system out now that actually works to some degree, is Steam. And even then it's easy to pirate single player games on it.
