I actually like one of his movies too (Heart of America, it was alright. Not great, but alright.), but the FPS genre has moved beyond JUNGLES and WALK FORWARD AND SHOOT IN TUNNELS. I mean, sure, you have a lot of games that are still like that, but then again we have a lot of platformers that are still overly generic platforming that could have probably passed for a 2D NES platformer.
Yeah and movies have moved beyond retarded dialogue, shitty pacing, nonsensical storylines, random plot devices, poorly cut action scenes with out of place effects, etc. How is making a bad game so much worse than making a bunch of bad movies.

It looks incredibly...average. If this game didn't have Uwe Boll on it, you wouldn't even LOOK at it (let alone play it). I couldn't really care less about it either way.

off topic:
lol, half life BREAK THE MOLD? good one, it is known as a great game, not an original game by ANY means

It was the first FPS to have a modern level design (both of them), modern characters with moving mouths (HL1, and yes this was MIND BLOWING for the time), modern characters with accurate faces that showed emotion (HL2), a story that wasn't basic as shit (both of them) with characters that were actually different and ground breaking giving the style of story (Dr. Breen, for example, is not your standard BIG BROTHER character, even though he seems that way at the start, G-Man, etc), it was the first FPS to have physics the player could actually affect in puzzles or use to kill enemies (gravity gun, picking up objects and throwing them ALSO revolutionary for the time), and I could keep listing stuff for like another 15 sentences.

Like sure it probably looks average now but pretty much everything in it was revolutionary for the time that it was made. It single handedly redefined the genre when it came out.

This doesn't really have that.

Counterstrike. (made by two people for original release, Valve getting them just made updates quicker, never updated graphics or anything.)

Portal. (had 2 voice actors, most of the same graphics, and was made on a small budget by a small team. One of the best games on the orange box that overshadowed all the others in reviews, so yea.)

Yeah but the thing about Portal is that they've made shitload of games in the past so they know what they're doing!

Portal was mostly made by college students who had 1 project in the past, Narbacular Drop, a decent VERY (read: none) low budget made by a couple of kids for a videogame design class. They never had a team bigger than 10 people working on it (Portal), so!

Really was made by a bunch of people who had little experience at what they were doing.

But it's an example that you don't need UBER STACKS OF MONEY to be original and good, since the graphics in Portal are rather subpar for their time. You just need $ if you want to be CUTTING EDGE.

Well... the concept of a pure tunnel only FPS could be a great game if done well, just not make it a straight forward tunnel and make it more DOOM (3 in particular and being able to actually attach flashlights to your weapons) like. Coupled with pseudo-randomly generated monsters by an ominous A.I. that pretty much decides how to use it's resources to try and kill you in a huge labyrinth of tunnels. No story needed, just you trying to get out of a dark, cramped series of tunnels to the surface with hordes of creatures stalking you every step of the way.

But I geuss I had my hopes a little too high...

Is it the randomness I suggested? Cause Pseudo means seemingly, I mean't it would appear to be random but it does have a structure to it. Or is it that tunnels translates to boring? I though it'd be a good idea because it's a tunnel maze, cramped with few large enough areas to sneak past, and the enemy could do things like chase you into an ambush and trap you between two forces (with only two ways to go) and stuff like that. But thinking about it now i'm starting to see the problems with it.

"But there are things out there they never prepared you for..."

A HELICOPTER??

Also, that first part of the video where he's going through tunnels reminds me of the second part of Hexen.

Uwe Boll movies are actually really entertaining. the guy needs to learn how to make his action sequences as good as his other shit though because the choreography is so boring I know quite a few people who turn the movie off just because they are too fucking bored.

in a scene in In the Name of the King, Jason Statham finds his dead son and my friend and I both started cracking up because his face of mourning resulted in him knotting his forehead and the knot was HUGE. it was like the size of my fist. it was great because without any communication we were the only two laughing at the same thing.

if you watch his films completely aware they are trolls, they are great fun.

There was a rumour going around that the knot was CGI edited in in post production by Boll because he thought Statham didn't evoke enough emotion in the scene.

If it was any other director I would think this would be completely ridiculous but with Boll...I don't know, it almost seems plausible...
