No it didn't. So far that is the New Future, after Future Peter went back in time to shoot Nathan. He was from a future where mutants were hunted and experimented on. In the New Future, the syrum was made, and everyone has powers.

The show will of course be about stopping the New Future and Old Future from happening, but so far, the New Future is where everyone has powers and Sylar hashad a son.

Don't forget... Before Matt had his dream about New Future (last episode), the Painter repainted the future, as it had changed.

She was trapped in the future where the virus was released.

Prison Break is far less convoluted than Heroes. It's goal per season is fairly straight forward, but they still make it extreme and suspenseful. PB is my favorite!

Heroes is the show that just keeps going around in circles:

Season 1 - Save the cheerleader, save the world. (Prevent bomb explosion)
Season 2 - Prevent shanti virus release
Season 2 - Prevent formula distribution

I'm beginning to feel like I'm watching the same thing over and over again. Will we ever see a plot line that doesn't involve saving the world? Season 1 worked well because it had other things like the discovery of one's own power and had that affected personal life, as well as characters meeting up with one another. Season 2 was an epic failure. They built up these first generation heroes so much and then failed to deliver. It looked like things were going to be different but in the end it came back to square one. (Ok, so the writer's strike happened so I can cut them some slack... however...) now, in season 3 it seems like everyone is a-ok with their power and can't wait to use it to save the world and be a hero... BORING.

Is this show trying to teach us that no matter how often they try to change anything that it'll end up being the same anyway?

mateui how can you watch braindead garbage like survivor simultaneously post harsh critiques of heroes??  heroes is a shitty show pretty much and everything you said about it was valid but i am detecting some inconsistency in standards here!

The thing is - Survivor has no script. I watch it to see different personalities interact and interplay. It's a physical, social, and mental game between 16-18 strangers all with a common goal, but only one winner. It's like watching a psychology experiment. Heroes on the other hand has a script, so I'm judging it on a different standard. I think that's fair.

Ok, now that we know that Linderman is in fact still dead, how did Nathan miraculously heal then?

Well. Peter was around him when he woke up and was healed, maybe Peter did it subconsiously. I thought that people who were invincible could manipulate there power to heal other people.

When have we seen that though? Claire can't heal other people, and neither can Adam. Linderman did heal other people, but he didn't have the power to heal himself. I don't think we've ever seen anyone who could heal themselves AND other people. I don't remember Peter interacting with Linderman, so unless I'm misremembering from season 1 I don't think he had to chance to absorb his power.

I don't know, I remember in the first or second season. Someone saying that powers could evolve and people who heal themselves could heal others. We did think that Linderman could do both until it was revealed he wasn't really alive.
