Heroes Season 3 is on TV right now, go watch it. They had this recap episode before it aired. I'm watching the last episode of Season 2 so I can remember wtf is going on. It's been off TV for so long, I had completely forgotten about it and most of the story. I forgot most of the peoples names and forgot all the little intrecant story factors that are probably going to arise in this season. This episode is also 2 hours long. Maybe they merged two episodes into one?

legendarily bad is a gross overstatement i think. it wasnt very good but it wasnt even as bad as MOST OTHER TV so!

season two was absolutely horrible (it had some potential but it ended up being such garbage OH LOL FEUDAL JAPAN). i'm gonna give season 3 a shot but i'm not hoping for much. i used to like heroes a lot but there are much better shows (like weeds for one) that have totally replaced it for me.

they'e still doing the online episodes thing right? they usually had the latest episode on nbc.com the day after it airs. that's usually how i watched them.

I just got fucked up by this episode.

A list of everything they did right, finally:
More powered people. Hella more time travel plot lines. Future Peter. Mohinder being a weird freak after getting a cool power. Sith Ando (fuck YES). A nemesis for Hiro who actually makes sense. Noah Bennet. Sylar presumably being Angela's son (??!?!?!) and possibly turning good and becoming Noah's partner (?!?!?!). Nathan actually being a character I like to follow, now. Lots of action. Nikki being interesting for once. Linderman being a ghost (what?!)? No Micah or Kakashi-girl. Elle becoming a more interesting character. Unfortunatly!: No Haitian and still no explanation of the Irish girl! What is that giant gaping plot hole? Also I wanted to see the star of the webisodes make an appearance.

The big question is CAN THIS BEAT THE OFFICE PREMIERE? I dunno we'll see but fuck yeah this was great shit.

Yeah these episodes were pretty awesome. They certainly got back on track after season 2.

I'm really curious as to EVERYTHING that's going on. Pretty much everything Cheesy said.

However:
That is definitely not Niki. Niki does not turn people into ice. It doesn't make sense if it is her.
I didn't like that Matt was stuck in Africa and got little screentime, he's my favourite character. But I guess he will develop on that storyline.
Flint is pretty badass imo.
And wtf is going on with Angela and being Sylar's mother?

"Nikki" wasnt in this episode, it was one of her other personas (note the totally different power). Also, there's too many people with pretty much the same power. The fast girl and Hiro (not the same power, but they're pretty much being paired up under the same category) And they better not add the girl that you can vote for that speeds up and slows down people. I loved how Peter tried to "save the world" again and ended up making it worse. His mom is has gotten a lot more interesting at the end of season 2 and in this episode. Oh and the African guy has Isaacs power. Did he get that power passed to when when Isaac died, or are there duplicates out there? Now the main question I want answered. Who did Peter run into that could let you trap people in other peoples bodiesand does the regular non future Peter have all his powers or just the Sonic abilities of his new body. Dont care about Irish girl.

hoodie:Peters mom has the power to manipulate people (and apparently can see into the future), so she's probably just trying to convince Sylar that she is him mother and get him on the good side.

Actually this makes sense, considering she was about to die in that fire. Well anyways, sense in how she survived, not how she gets all weird kinds of powers.

That was funny. Now Mohinder is a monkey. Also I don't care if that's Nikki's different identity or whatever, unless she was born with two powers it doesn't make sense yet. Nikki and Jessica BOTH had super strength. I think present Peter's got those sonic abilities, but where's his real body and is the villain in his body now? Also the new African guy is interesting. Anyone notice the 'new' symbol, the Godsend symbol in the middle of a cracking Earth? Interesting.

I think future Peter just put present Peter inside Jesse's body. I'm not sure if his powers carry over or what? Peter still thinks he's Peter, but I don't know what happened to his body.

I was kind of disappointed by this premiere. Season 1 introduced these characters as people. You know, ordinary people with extraordinary powers. It worked.

Now everyone seems to have a power and they all act like super heroes. The human element has just been left behind. The show feels empty to me. I'll continue to watch for the convulated storyline (how many times are they going to mess with the timeline and resurrect characters? Does anything actually stick in this show? It doesn't so it always feels like the show is running on a treadmill...) and the special effects, but the show isn't as good as it was in the past now.

Hey Malcolm McDowell is back, they're pulling a Lost! He's easily the best actor and best character in the series hands down.

Well, I didn't think too highly of the show this time so I did enjoy it for what it was. Of course it's really obvious they're trying really hard to introduce all these new plots, mysteries, etc to last a few dozen episodes.
