Alright, that episode did tie up some things. I was interested how Mr.Petrelli got bedridden. Man I just didn't think about any more family power connections like Claire's mom and the blue flame guy being siblings. Good Job Noah, you fucked up Sylar from the beginning. Seems like every character in the show does something and ends up fucking everything up.

This latest episode really sucked. Hard. Did we really need any of that? All the stuff with Meredith and Flint and Eric Roberts seemed really unnecessary. Oh wow Meredith and Flint are related -- did we need a whole episode to learn that?

And the stuff with Sylar -- everybody already likes Sylar, they're trying TOO HARD to make him into a good guy now. If the next episode tries to push him into GOOD GUY territory even more then I'm just going to give up on him. We get the point already.

The only thing that really happened in this episode was showing how Mr. Petrelli "died" and survived, and the last minute at the end with Hiro and Usutu. But other than that, the entire episode didn't push the story forward AT ALL.

I've seriously lost hope in this show. I don't know why I even bother to keep watching it. Out of habit maybe.

It's fleshing out the story more. What's wrong with that? It showed that Noah could've stopped it Sylar from the beginning and it gives more reason for him wanting to kill Sylar. I like these type episodes that fill in the past.

If he does get Hiro's powers, im gonna pray he learns to use them properly unlike Hiro who's a complete d**k head for being so useless with the most powerful power of them all.

I thought the episode was okay. Had some unneeded parts. I'm not liking how there isn't enough PETER PETRELLI in the show now, he's the epic hero man! The episode did do a good job developing the dad. Final Boss is a calm and immensely evil man, perfect. Peter with all his powers vs. dad with all powers plus more! It'd be epic.
 
The ending was awesome though, left me waiting for the next episode.

I'm totally digging the whole father arc, I like the idea of the calm, all knowing villain that the Heroes will have to (eventually) stand up against to beat - it kind of embodies the feel of the first season with a lot of superhero collective comic book stuff mixed in.

I have a heroes poster I got signed by Hayden Panettiere, Kristen Bell, Malcolm McDowell, Tim Sale, and Alex Maleev. I got Milo Ventimiglia on a poster for his comic book tho.

That's pretty cool, what did you do on the set?

In Episode 6, there was a scene with Elle and Claire in an airplane - in reality it was a huge airliner cabin mounted on a hydraulic platform called a gimble - I did some rigging work (lighting, mainly) and some finishing touches on the walls, around the windows, etc. It was cool but there were over 50 people doing the same thing so it was easy to get lost in the crowd.

The other scene I worked on was in Ep. 7, when Meridith finds out her brother Flint has been captured and talks with him through the holding cell glass. I just held a boom mike for that scene inside the cell, it was the end of the day and people wanted to go home. Also in the scope of the show the talent was pretty B-List for that scene so all I had to do was volunteer and they let me do sound.

Eric Roberts (The guy who plays Thompson, the boss at Primatech) borrowed my cell phone during that scene and called some area code I didn't recognize. I'm glad I get free long distance!

Eh, not really, but the talent really does not appreciate fanboyism on set - Hayden (who demands to be called "Hadey P" by people her age) is kind of a cool chick, I argued with her about saying sup AND giving the sup nod at the same time... Masi Oki has a new iPhone which he let me play with, and Krystin Bell is kind of a bitch!!! But yeah!

So... no, I could have asked, chose not to. Non-Disclosure Contract only forbade me to reveal plot details before the episodes aired.

I think it had something to do with the fact that they did 17 takes of the airplane scene cause Hayden couldn't get her lines right. Krysten miiiiight have been pissed about that.

It was cool, but it was also work. Not a bad way to make a few hundred bucks.

Sigh, probably the weakest episode this season.

1. I don't know what Hiro and Ando are going to do and I don't care. Mr.P brainwashing him into thinking he's 10 years old or w/e the heck he does was lame. Kill him! Rip Hiro's head off.

2. Sylar and Elle's scene was predictable, though Mr.P watching them was kind of disturbing.

3. Claire is "the chosen one" *gasp* like we all didn't expect this. I... I think I'm the catalyst.

4. So, "Save the cheerleader, save the world". If this thing still rings true, that means she must be detrimental to saving the world. But the only way for her to be of any use is for her to give her blood or whatever to give people super powers. So maybe when the eclipse arrives and everyone loses there powers, Claire gives her blood to Mohinder or someone and they complete the formula and give it to Peter or something.

5. Also, I thought Sylar gained his dad's power and took away Elle's power by touch, but I guess he just developed a weaker form of what Peter could do. (Sylar touched Elle and copied her power, Peter just got near you).
