While I was reading a wikipedia article on one of my favorite games of the year(Castle Crashers), I saw a referrence to a game called "Super Columbine Massacre RPG!" which was surprisingly made in RPGMaker2000. The link to the article is here:

The game's plot centers around the last few hours of the Columbine Massacre through the eyes of the two killers who carried it out.

According to the article it was released in '05, so some of you might know about it already. But really, wow. And I thought Lunar Eve and Destiny's Call were pushing envelopes.

I remember this made it on some news broadcast and the creator claimed that it was created in the memory of the fallen at Columbine.

Dan Paldin retracted Castle Crashers/Alien Hominid or whatever from the independent gaming festival 2005 or something because they refused to allow Columbine Adventures participate.

I dunno, as an artist I fight for the right of other people to express their opinion no matter how ridiculous it is but some people really take their first amendment right to ridiculous ends. There's something frustrating about people getting famous for pissing on a picture of the virgin mary, selling their feces in a can, or digitally enhancing the trade tower's smoke to reveal a picture of george bush and rasputin smiling with a thumbs up.

i highly doubt the kid who made columbine adventures even gave a shit about the people who died or the killers themselves and instead wanted publicity because LOL CONTROVERZY sells.

i mean the biggest spotlight it had (for me at least) was 2 (or was it 3) years ago when we had a school shooting

and the killer's favorite game was this

yeah we had a topic about this a while ago too.

oh and the guy who made this game also made a document called Playing Columbine. It was about this game and it's impact on society.

And the guy who made it directed and shot it.

and conducted the interviews.

Btw congrats bizzle you are like 4 years behind.

Also stop complaining guys he went into RPG Maker and clicked a few buttons for a day and ended up being a finalist at Slamdance. No other RPG Maker user has ever even ENTERED a independent video game competition.
