a scientific study???? but your not a doctor!! your just a member on the forums[/b] HAVE NO FEAR member of gaming world community!! i have attended many narutopathy clinics and have a certified degree in cancer studies! Unfortunate regulations and multiple signatures on important-looking pieces of paper prevent me from scanning and uploading this degree BUT IT EXISTS I ASSURE YOU. I have also read and re-read
Dr. Martini Ph.D 's book on the subject. Trust me.
WHAT IS THIS STUDY ABOUT[/b] I gave you a hint in the last question.. heh.. see if you can find it... it starts with a "c." Other wise keep... scrolling... down
what do you mean you have answer to the great server depression of 2008 and havent told us yet???[/b] While conducting my field work, I unfortunately had to sacrifice the comfort of everyone else on the forums. The guilt almost killed me (thankfully i revived myself with some delicious goji berries....)
In other words: For the past few weeks, I've been examining a certain member's Post History in great detail. For those of you who have tried to look up a member's post history, you understand how RIDICULOUSLY difficult this is. The average pageload time I get to display ONE PAGE of posts by a member is about 230 seconds. During this time, I've noticed that I can't load any other GW pages and neither can anyone else apparently!
Every single time that I've gotten an SMF error in the past month has been WHILE LOADING A POST HISTORY PAGE. Therefore I have come to the conclusion that I am at least partially to blame for this horrible catastrophe.
i dont believe in science. is this report for me???!?!![/b] - parental advisory:
if you are not science fan STOP READING THIS LINE OF SENtENCEOnwards with the report!!!
Let's call our patient....

........"Steel"
June 2, 2008 – Steel is diagnosed with Testicular Cancer, Level IV. He is told he has a cure rate of 50%. A member named “Doktormartini” suggests Spirulina as a treatment.
June 10, 2008 – 1st round of chemotherapy begins.
June 20, 2008 – Patient feels excruciating knee pain due to side effect of white blood cell injection.
June 24, 2008 – Minor chemo hair loss started yesterday; Steel’s mom shaves his head.
June 26, 2008 – Another day of intense knee pain
July 7, 2008 – Cycle 2 of chemo begins.
July 19, 2008 – Steel develops pneumonia, admitted to hospital. Doctors report that his white blood count has dropped dramatically.
July 26, 2008 – Patient is released from the hospital. Tumor marker has dropped from 20,000 to 2,000. Good news!
August 4, 2008 – Cycle 3 of chemo begins.
August 6-9, 2008 – Steel does not post on GW at all. Not even once.
August 19, 2008 – Last day of Cycle 3
August 29, 2008 – Last day of 5-day part of chemo cycle
Sept. 9, 2008 –
END OF CHEMO!!! Results reveal (at a later date) that tumor markers are down from 2,000 to 94.
Sept. 26, 2008 – Doctors state that Steel has a lymph node that looks cancerous.
Sept. 30, 2008 – Steel is given a 99.5% chance of surgical survival! Tumor markers are down to 43.
Oct. 9, 2008 – Steel meets with the surgeon and is told he has a 95% chance of complication-free surgery. Surgery scheduled for Oct. 29, 2008.
ResultsWhat do all these complicated graphs and words mean?????Thesis: Simple. Chemotheraphy, and in effect CANCER, greatly reduce a member's ability and desire to post on the internet. Considering posting on message boards is universally regarded as the perfect activity for lazy fat bastard who does not know how to use legs for anything but kicking bag of cheetos closer to swiveling office chair
THIS MEANS CANCER IS WORSE THAN BEING FAT!!!!Some Notes
- June 4th was Steel's second-highest post count over the data range. He posted 100 times. This shows that the immediate result of finding out you have cancer is TELL ALL MY FRIENDS ON GAMING WORLD. I have not omitted the idea that yelling and 2Beers and MOG may have played a role in this high post count day.

- After June 10, 2008 (the first day of chemotherapy), the patient's post count decreases a great deal. The only days with "normal" post counts occur in between chemo cycles.

- When Steel develops pneumonia and stays at the hospital for a week, he almost never posts!! In fact, for 4 days from August 6th-9th STEEL DOES NOT POST AT ALL. This is incredible and unprecedented (where is my nobel??) Conclusion: HOSPITAL FOOD IS HORRIBLE

- When chemo is finally over (on Sept. 9, 2008), Steel's post count rises DRAMATICALLY and goes back to levels that are more indicative of NORMAL DOOPZ. The # of cancerous cells has decreased exponentially and IT FEELS GOOD.
Final Conclusion: CANCER SUCKS. Steel's post count is rising like the dead sea shit i was not trained in metaphors clinic. Patient Steel must refrain from depressing statements such as "im gonna dieeeee" because the dramatic increase in post count PROVES that Steel is getting better and is gonna LIVE FOREVER
