The NPCs were bugged and kept going between two spots healing themselves forever instead of hurting Raziel. So...Raziel vs 6 eles.

And he won...

Rather than introducing another skill update this week, we're finishing a new system to balance key skills separately for PvP and PvE. Within the next few weeks, we'll introduce PvP versions for a handful of skills. These skills will work the same way as normal skills, but have different number values (damage, healing, cost, recharge, and so on). We will do this as sparingly as possible and start with very few skills. So that we don't confuse players, we intend to keep as many skills unchanged as we can.

PvP versions are designed to target only specific skills. With such a system we can revert high-impact nerfs, such as Light of Deliverance and Defensive Anthem, to make them strong again in PvE. When we see something becoming severely imbalanced in PvP, we'd like to avoid harsh PvE nerfs without creating different versions of a large number of skills.

Skills that differ in PvP will have (PvP) at the end of their names when in PvP outposts and matches. These skills will automatically be adjusted within PvP outposts and matches. All players have to do is equip the skill as normal, and it will use the PvP version where appropriate.

We've decided to release our next skill balance update simultaneously with these changes. We can take full advantage of the new skill balancing mechanism and avoid multiple balances over a short time frame.

I decided to be un-PvP oriented for once and finally beat Shiro and Factions, the only campaign I've never bothered to beat!! Yaaay!

I beat Prophecies a while back and I meant to ask, is there only one Deldrimor Talisman available per character (I know you can buy them from others though).
I tried fighting Glint the other day but only got it down to half health before it picked everyone off one by one, we weren't prepared at all.

sorry I got way busy and stopped playing for ages since my computer was crapping out every time. but now I'm hopefully back (new computer) and ready to start again! I wanna play some with GWs since it'd be cooler with people I know (sort of) (plus GW's c00l ​), though time zones may make that a problem sometimes. HL: did you say you had a guild?
I have no characters now, and pretty much no experience, so how should I begin? (Don't even know shit about CCORPGs.) I only have Prophecies right now, and will probably stick with that at first since I'm new.

I'll probably have to wait until next month too, since my internet is not so hot right now (stupid brother downloaded a lot).

also you'll pretty much just want to figure out what type of character you want to create. whenever your internet gets going again just let me know and we can hook up and I'll take you thru the beginning areas.

sweet thanks for that. mesmer sounds cool but too hard for a beginner. I might play ranger or elementalist if they seem not-lame enough.

Mesmer is pretty hard for beginners and isn't too hot in PvE until much later anyways thanks to other campaigns.

Ranger / Elementalist is pretty cool.

http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Skills_by_Campaign the first 2 sections (Core & Prophecies) list every skill you can get for each of the Prophecies classes, so even if you haven't played you can see if something sticks out at you for Rangers / Elementalists.

There's also a secondary class you get to pick too so thats something to think about.

Just try to do all the quests that you can, explore the areas, have fun, etc.

this is very important, make sure after you do your first quest to get your first couple skills, that you talk to Lina the Healer by the rez shrine to the left from where you come out of Ascalon City. She will give you a quest to get a Resurrection Signet, make sure you complete it by partying with someone else for it. It's a must-have-on-skill-bar-at-all-times skill.

The reason is I honestly don't exactly remember the spelling of the name hahahaha. I'm a necromancer and although it isn't my first time playing I'm still very nooby. I have 19, 422 files to download do I don't think I'll be able to play tonight hahaha
