5/10 would be average, so I hope those extra two points are just for it having Nathan Lane in it.

tbh I really hope that 5 of those 7 points are for Nathan Lane

my bloody valentine in 3d

there were pretty much no redeeming qualities.
this is on my top 10 least favorite movies list, and its a shame because i want edi gathegi to do good but he just keeps taking the worst movies possible

I LOVED this movie. :(

It reminded me of the old, great 80s slashers of the past...back when horror movies were actually entertaining (and good).

Just watched Bedtime Stories. It was devoid of swearing, but it was still a goofy Adam Sandler movie. If you like that sort of thing, like me, check this out. It isn't as Disney as I thought. Some real knock-out laughs (but I won't ruin them).

I just got done watching He Died With a Felafel in His Hand about ten minutes ago.  I had no expectations whatsoever towards it due to the fact my brother put it on our Netflix based solely on the combination of title and the fact that it had good ratings.  Of course, he put it on there not realizing it would be here after he went back to school, but either way I watched it.  I really, really enjoyed it.  The way it started out with the whole golfing-with-frogs thing made me worried it would be some stupid comedy, but it turned out to be a really interesting anecdotal film.  I had this bad feeling throughout the whole thing that it was going to end without tying all the loose ends, but somehow it managed to finish everything it started.  I also just found out that it was based on a book, which was also made into a graphic novel, so I'll have to check those out.

I just watched Jacob's Ladder. To be honest I was kind of disappointed with the ending. Maybe because it's the first time I've seen it and now in retrospective the "twist" seems kind of old, maybe that's what put me off. It didn't even feel like a twist at all actually.. it was very obvious from the beginning, but I did enjoy it overall.

Yeah, I just saw it today. It was pretty good, but Clint Eastwood was pretty funny with the . Also, I was pretty shocked at the number of people in my cinema who laughed at all the racist slurs.

I think my favourite scenes were all the ones where .
Upon arriving the attending doctor could find no abnormal physical symptoms other than extremely dilated pupils. After spending several hours terrified that his body had been possessed by a demon, that his next door neighbor was a witch, and that his furniture was threatening him, Dr. Hofmann feared he had become completely insane.

last 3/4 of the new underworld movie.

its pretty much the same dumb shit that was in the other movies. Imagine the cutscene with Lucian (head wolf dude) and that vamp chick he fell in love with except for over an hour and a half.

it sucked

I never saw the others but the one in theaters right now is a prequel I think. Unless you mean underworld 2!

Also man Gran Torino was ok I guess but uh it pretty much stops there. It's 90% same old Eastwood (this isn't bad but tired for sure) and the ending is really really predictable. The priest was kind of interesting and the kids were alright (I dunno if they were as awful as everyone is saying they just weren't very well written characters to begin with) but actually the the movie was just a vehicle for Clint Eastwood to say racial slurs haha

yeah its a prequel. I went with my brother his friend and gf and she didn't get that it was a prequel even after the movie. I asked her if she liked it and she said, "not really, it was confusing I thought that guy was dead :("

she sat through the WHOLE movie and did not realize through the sword fighting, horse drawn carriages, dudes clad in armor, lack of ANY 21st century technology WHATSOEVER that it was a prequel or that it was even supposed to take place HUNDREDS of years before the other ones.

yes bill was in it and he died in the second one

I don't know if this needs spoilers, so I'll use them just to be safe.

Also,

Anyway, I also watched Underworld: Rise of the Lycans and, aside from laughing hilariously at most of the performances (I'm looking at you, Bill Nighy) I kind of enjoyed it. The director tried to stay true to the darker cinematography of the first movie but, in some cases, it was just too dark and I couldn't see what the heck was going on. Honestly, it was way better than I expected it to be, but I should have waited for it to come out on DVD rather than rushing to the theatre to see it.

I also saw Inkheart today, the story of Mo (played ridiculously by Brendan Fraser) who can make things come to life by reading aloud from books. He discovered this power while reading his daughter a story and, in doing so, accidentally called out a fire-throwing dude and some bad guys who have since settled in a castle in Italy. Unfortunately, while 'reading' these people out of the book, Mo traps his wife (Jill Valentine from the RE movie)inside the book so now Mo is out to find a copy of the book to save his wife. It sounds really silly but this movie was far better than I expected. That being said, it's definitely aimed at kids. Capricorn, the main bad guy, made Swiper the Fox look like Al Capone and I really could have done without flying monkies. On the up side, Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren were well-cast and Paul Bettany did a good job with the material he was given. My sister the bookworm was so polite to point out that the source material for this movie, a book also called Inkheart, was far better than the movie. All in all, I think it's a decent kids/young adult adventure fantasy film, but it's probably worth waiting on it to arrive on DVD. Or just read the book, as I'm about to start doing.
Check it out! I'm doing NaNoWriMo this year!

Just watched Wall-E, it was actually pretty good. There was very little speech in the movie so I don't even know how a child would enjoy it.
