Green Street:
It was alright, but I felt the whole thing was over-glamorous. And was there REALLY a need for an American in it? Really?

Massy you watch an insane amount of movies!

The last movie I watched was Judge Dredd on cable.

Terrible movie, but I still like it.

It helps pass the time when im not at college or work.

The Day the Earth Stood Still - I thought it was ok, I have yet to see the original one but this new one was definitly worth the watch. I hear the ending is a little different from the original and not as good but sinse ive only seen the new one I really cant compare.

what you meant to say was "the greatest movie of all time".

Just watched...

Passengers - I had never even heard of this movie before I watched it, don’t think it got much attention although it was a very good movie in my opinion.. the ending was rather heart warming, the story however was a little predictable but I enjoyed it.

Wild Child - Didn’t like it, I have no probs with chick flicks but this just wasn’t any good... allot of the British girls annoyed me and I have yet to meet any British girls who speak or act like the girls you see in this movie (I am British). Felt kinda like the typical American stereotype of British people.. was boring!

I haven't seen it yet, lars; then again, it doesn't come out here until 9 January.

And, to further contribute to the thread:

Nothing Like the Holidays, a family Christmas comedy-drama thing about a Puerto Rican family in Chicago. It was far better than I expected (I'm not usually one for mushy family movies) and I actually found myself enjoying the experience. Except for John Leguizamo in his underwear. I could have gone for the rest of my life and been content never seeing that. I saw this in the theatre with a couple of girlfriends.

Diminished Capacity, another comedy-drama thing about a writer with post concussion syndrome who returns to his rural home to help his senile old uncle sell a baseball card. I actually read the book this movie was based off of and, for once, the movie almost lived up to my expectations. Matthew Broderick puts in a good performance but Alan Alda steals the movie. And remember, "Time is the guest of the north." I rented this one on DVD and I plan on buying it when I can.

Check it out! I'm doing NaNoWriMo this year!

I watched Pineapple Express a few nights ago.  Overall, I felt that it was a pretty excellent stoner movie and I quite enjoyed it for the most part.  (Seth Rogen's voice can get a little grinding at times though)

Just watched Zero Day, probaly inspired by the columbine high incident.

It was hyperrealistic but lacked a message or moral, mostly

The Devil's Rejects

Very entertaining. Loved it. I guess this is what happens when you give Springer guests guns and chainsaws.

I'm sure you can get a pill to get rid of that.

My sister and I basically pulled an all nighter last night and watched all three Bourne movies end over end (Bourne Identity, Bourne Conspiracy, Bourne Supremacy). I'd seen all three of them before, but watching them in rapid succession gave me a better understanding of the story. My sister whined because the movies didn't follow the books and, in all honesty, I can't remember what went on in the books so I guess I'll be reading the Bourne books soon. Anyway, all three have their awkward moments but I enjoyed them all. I had some issues with the car wrecks and, for a few moments, I was reasonably sure Jason Boune had been replaced with Superman but, all in all, I recommend the movies to anyone who enjoys the fast-paced action genre.
