...I suppose I was lucky? I don't think I heard anyone laugh at that part and my theater was packed.

No one laughed in the theatre I was in either and it was also full.

I did, however, laugh hysterically when It was really uncomfortable though because I was the only one that laughed.

I actually preferred the movie to the comic because the comic really didn't have ANY redeemable characters whatsoever.  I especially liked the direction they went with Big Daddy.

EDIT:  Oh, I also went to see Date Night which I thought was surprisingly amusing and Hot Tub Time Machine which had its moments.

Everyone in the theatre i was in laughed when Nicholas Cage's character

This happened throughout the movie; I really think that says it did a bad job conveying it was time to be serious rather than the theatre was full of morons (which it was)

I laughed at that too.  I'm pretty certain that that was done on purpose.

i guess i have kind of a boner for leo dicaprio so i really liked his acting and shit. also i have a boner for this type of movie, where everything you thought about reality is turned upside-down (not in a shyamalan-style twist scenario, m. night can suck a dong). I just liked how the movie kept twisting on you, even all the way up to the last minute, still twisting. Also I like to enjoy movies, so I didn't try to "figure it out" and let myself be surprised by the twists. My boss didnt like it because he figured it out like 10 minutes in, but he always does that to movies and yeah, it's gonna ruin them (stop doing that).

I just bought the new broken lizard movie "Slammin' Salmon" from walmart. Big mistake. This movie blows. Easily their worst movie.
It's completely predictable, and the only person to make me laugh was Michael Clark Duncan, and that wore off pretty quickly.

Watched Shutter Island. It was OK, I don't think it is as bad as Christophomicus said it is... but it certainly isn't something anyone should go out of their way to see. Pretty mediocre thriller... with a relatively predictable ending.... which makes it considerably less thrilling.

I'm pretty late on this one, but I watched Gran Torino recently. I knew nothing about it beforehand except the basic premise (Korean War veteran, Asian neighbours, etc.), but that was certainly for the best.

What a really great movie! Eastwood really blew my mind and I was surprised to see him being so physical when he's practically 80. I don't think many elder actors can look so intimidating at such at age, but Eastwood pulled it off no problem.

I'm actually tempted to watch the movie again because I really, really enjoyed it.

Well sir, you might or might not be in luck, depending on how you enjoy the following movie when it releases

I didn't know what movie to watch so I ended up downloading Dance Flick and damn, it was deleted as fast as it was downloaded.

Any great A comedy movie suggestions?

Watched Kick Ass and didn't think it was too bad, there were maybe 4 others in the screen I was in. I like to watch a movie near the end of its run and during the day when its empty.

My theater was apparently above average... which is surprising since I'm in fucking Arizona right now. Its 43rd in IQ...
