i dont remember. im sure you can, you can use gnome/kde on any distro (any window manager really). but some distros just seem "built" for kde/gnome. i dunno maybe im wrong but suse felt like a "KDE" distro to me.

yes coulombs are "germaine", did you learn that word at talk like a dick school?

if yall are hooked on ubuntu but want to use a real linux (not a linux for pussies) just run debian

when my pc crashed the first os i got borrowed was ubuntu and its pretty cool. i mean its a little too hardcore for me because every time i want to tweak something that doesnt works i have to go to the freakin terminal. other than that it runs smoother than vista used to so i recomend it A++

I CANT GET DOS TO RUN QUICKER. WHY IS DOS RUNNING SO SLOW ON MY TRI-CORE? THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

you running dos emulation? sure it's not set to only run at a certain speed so it doesn't go TOO fast?

I HAVE FORMATTED MY SYSTEM AND REPLACED IT WITH DOS. I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE VERY QUICK. IT IS NOT. IT IS JUST BLACK AND WHITE.

You need to format it with Fat-8. You can change colors with "COLOR X" where X is any hex number from 0 to F.

I love/hate dos so much coz i do/don't know how to use it perfectly. It's like, windows with everything added/taken away. How cool/shit is that! I mean, if I was given a choice between windows/nocomputer and DOS, I would definately/not take DOS. Man, I love/hate DOS sooo much.
