man I just got keyed for kara, and our guild is now at the point of having enough people to get 2 kara raids going. I've never done raids at all, and even though I dont want to devote hella time to raids and everything it's pretty exciting for me since I've basically waited SO LONG to get to this point. I'll be doing my first kara raid (and first raid ever) this saturday, so i'm pretty stoked about that. not the same as growing your own guild and everything but still, its exciting for me.
like i said i dont even think i'd like raiding that much (this guild is cool because its really casual, basically only raiding on saturday and maybe a little friday nights or something) and i will never devote more than a single day to it, maybe saturday and sunday but thats the most i could handle "devoting" to a game. once i hit 70 i was just gonna skip raiding entirely and just focus on pvp and getting my pvp gear, but goddamn that is actually really boring. I mean its cool to do the daily every day and from that alone you can earn like a piece of gear every week or so, but goddamn its kinda stupid. pvp kinda sucks really bad.
also im kinda pissed because a lot of my gear has resil which is worthless in pve and there's a couple pieces i spent a lot on the gems and i dont wanna give them up
im also saving up for mongoose on my MH but holy FUCK that shit is expensive. i have 5 of the 10 large prismatic shards already, which is nice, but still im probably gonna have to end up dropping at LEAST 300 gold. i have fiery and icy right now which is pretty embarrasing but it cost like 15-20g for BOTH so im not complaining too much, but shit its like the only enchants even worth getting are mongoose, executioner, and maybe the greater agility one, but they all cost so damn much i think im just gonna get mongoose on MH and keep icy on my OH. fuck i dont wanna drop that much money on an enchant though, especially while trying to save for my 280 flying mount but ughhh.
