hey UPRC i found this cool repack that someone did for a WoW private server. You basically just unzip everything and it works, has a database included that you start up with a batch file. It works perfect, I can uplaod the zoo if you want it (its like 150 megs or so, maybe less.

So, what Server does everyone play on anyways? I'm in Velen for a Normal Server, and Maiev or however its spelt for PvP. I've tried to get into an RP Server, but all the retards complaining about their not being PvP got to me, especially since their biggest arguement is that PvP makes the game work. While I think in my head "I've never touched PvP on my Paladin, and I'm probably one of the best Paladins Horde-side on my server.... I thought it was Raids, Story and Instances that got the game going."

BUT ANYWAYS, back to the inital question, what servers does everyone play on?
Mieu?

Sounds like a deal to me, chum.

I was originally on Shadow Moon with everyone else, but after I quit WoW for a bit I returned on Hyjal and transfered my guy to Moon Guard about two months ago.

I'm not really much of an arena person, so I'm kinda satisfied with this.

<ramirez> well i know you disagree with me about that, and i agree that you disagree
<ramirez> but i still disagree with it

nice gear, you must hurt people pretty bad

i have much worse gear than that on my rogue and i still do well in pvp (nerf rogues)

(also the rogue account got hacked (i took it from my scottish friend who doesnt play anymore), fell victim to the flash player exploit, stubid me.)

Truth to be told, I've never really PvPed in full PvP gear, so I can't tell how it is. I still have problems dealing with ultra geared Paladins and Shaman, but once I find someone without resilience, I tend to see 4,000+ Hemos.

PvP-geared rogues will be a bit better off once the Cheat Death nerf happens, anyway.

Hemo hits for that much on anything without resilience with pve gear.

And not much less on proper gear if you've ever seen what happens to a 480 resilience priest in arena to warglaive slayer rogues.

that's pretty ridiculous!  after normalization i wouldn't really have expected a mh warglaive and 2200ish ap to give 4k hemo crits on anything that wasn't near zero armor.  even clothies are sitting at like 20% mitigation buffed at this point right?  that's still on the high end!  idk hemo hitting for 2k seems pretty fucked when his stats aren't even that high and 2.8 weapon speed doesn't mean anything anymore!

The first Hemo tends to crit for around 3.2k to 3.4k. The second one ends up somewhere in the 4k range. This is very very rare, though. Zero resilience is a must. On casters WITH resilience, I tend to crit for about 2.5k-2.7k.

I PvP with the 4-piece T6 bonus, which adds bonus damage to Hemo. Also keep in mind that I already have quite a bit of passive armor penetration from my gear, in addition to Serrated Blades and Expose Armor.

oh is that after an expose?  i could see that, then, especially with the bonus.  i used to get some pretty ridiculous mutilates when i took the time to expose armor on leather-/cloth-wearers.  it was never really necessary but BIGNUMBERS i guess is pretty fun.

Nah. With the armour penetration that even pvp rogues and warriors have now, like a single sunder or fuckin 5 point expose puts us on 0 armour. Mages and warlocks anyway and I feel bad for priests trying to keep inner fire up in 5v5 anyway so them too really.

rogues can get about 1k static armor pen in full s3, add in executioner (800?) and if they have access to high end pvp gear they could probably top 5k with expose up, which is a bit ridiculous

BUT HEY AT LEAST I CAN KEEP MY 600 ARMOR UP WITHOUT IT GETTING DISPELED NOW
