Yeah dailies are a great way to make money but really boring day after day imo

On my other mage I was JC/enchanter and LET ME TELL YOU that is a sick combo, I made more gold per hour than doing daily quests just standing in front of the AH

I get pissed off at people who demand tips when you have them make something with your own mats, especially when the tip is just completely unreasonable (1g is the most I typically go). People are just greedy, I guess.. Looking to get money from whatever they possibly can.

You're making someone take time to do something for you. For food and water, unless if they are like RIGHT NEXT TO YOU they have to stop whatever they are doing, walk all the way over to you (wasting their time), cast a spell (more time), trade (even more time), and then walk all the way back. With portals, they have to buy a reagent ($$$), come to you (time), cast a spell (time), if you're doing a round trip that's another reagent and another portal (time & money), then they have to go back to where they were.

General mage etiquette is free food/water if asked nicely, tip for portals unless if the person provides their own rune. (and even then a small tip for wasting their time is nice)

It's a service, a tip is nice. It'd be the equivalent of not paying a waitress a tip, or a rogue a tip for lockpicking, or a lock for a rit of summoning, or a crafter for crafting, etc.

It costs like 20s for something that wastes their time to help you. Just fucking do it!! Not doing it is kind of dickish, and you can get back like 20s in 5s.

No that's totally fair I would expect a mage to charge me at least 20s for a portal. I usually tip them 1g which is plenty (20s for reagent 80s tip). I also always run to the person, if I'm getting anything. trading, port, food/water, lockpick, enchant. I've just had SO MANY mages go 20G FOR PORTAL it's like what the fuck, you asshole. I never charge people for lockpicking, and I've found most people will tip anyway. But yeah if someone just walks up to me and opens a trade and starts putting in lockboxes i just /ignore them because that is hella dickish.

Basically im farming primal mana and this guy whispers me asking for a port, i pretty much say 100g every time because im a dick, but this guy invited me to a group anyway and rode all the way from that place north of stormspire to the kirin'tor village. So he gets there and trades me 2 netherweave and asks for a portal and i tell him i was serious to see how far i could push him, he says he won't pay it and then drops group and attempts to steal my mobs. About 5 minutes later he whispers me.

and i have met way dickish people, i was trying to get my spellfire crafted to i was spamming trade and shit for people who had their timers, and one guy says he'll do it for 15g (with my mats) and we get up there he makes it then when he trades it to me he says "sry changed my mind u gotta pay 70g or i keep" so i was pretty fucking pissed, he even took the motes from the wraith like a cunt

Man there's this fucko on my server who just sits around in shat all day offering to make belt of blasting for a ridiculous fee, and ONLY when you provide the mats. Half the time when I'm passing through trade chat is just him arguing with people that he deserves to earn money for it since it was so hard of a recipe to get.

If My Hearthstone is down I run to the nearest instance and then randomly invite a guildy/raider/friend into a group then drop the group once I'm inside the instance. Free Hearthstone! Who needs portals when you have that.

Armour type buffs (Molten Armor, Ice Armor, Frost Armor, Mage Armor, Fel Armor and Demon Armor) have had "magic" removed from their tooltips on the PTR and are now undispellable.

This is something most mages have wanted FOREVER so yeeeeeeessssss if it goes live

they haven't even confirmed if its a bug or not

its funny to watch all the shamans whine about it though, i mean purging frost armor is the sole reason mages lose to them, has nothing to do with earth shock grounding and windfury

They most likely have the original copy of the game, the email, the email secret question, the access key, charges on their account, etc. It would be easy to fool Blizzard into giving it back to them even if you did.
