im just so used to titan bar i have no desire to use fubar. ive looked at it a few times but overall i like titan better so meh

i'd like to reiterate that you are LEVEL FIVE, if you spent half the time leveling as you do tweaking custom mods, you would probably be at least in your 40's.

My motto has always been if you are brand new to the game (ie less than level 30 or so, since you dont even have a real good idea of what your class is all about before then), use the default ui. Once you get higher you will have a better idea of what kinds of mods you need, and what you want to do. You know things you need/want to see and things you don't.

I dunno that's just me. Personally I try to keep my mods fairly simple. I use bongos for actionbars, because they are fast to set up and work great. I use perl for unitframes because the default shit is pretty much what I want anyways. After that all I really care about is Auctioneer (and Informant), mobinfo, atlas/atlasloot, metamap, titan bar, and monkey quest.

That's not the point. The point is that you don't even understand your class well enough to know everything you need/want and what you don't. And don't tell me you do because at lvl 18 you havent even BEGUN to understand how your class works.

I'm not saying "use default ui stupid", but spending any more time than it takes to download a mod and use its defaults is time lost for you at this point. Wait till your lvl 30 before you start thinking "oh yes i need this mod and this mod and this mod and this one should look like this and this one like this"

personally i hate the default ui and my checklist for making a new char pretty much follows:

1. Roll char
2. Login to rich char and send new char 5g and maybe some low level greens
3. Login to new char and fix ui
4. enjoy game

Also, panda, how did you move your fubar up like that? Did you increase the thickness?

I unlucked it and moved it.  There is an ATTACH TO BOTTOM and an ATTACH TO TOP and then a just don't attach to shit option and I checked the last one, then dragged it.  I did thicken it, but only slightly.  Also fortunately I already had to upload it for Truth and some random dude asking me to on Andorhal so: http://panda.whahay.net/ui.rar go nuts!  It's scaled and shit around 1152x864 or whatever, so if that's not your resolution, you'll probably have to move things around and scale them up/down.

Also, I think the funny part about KTM at such a low level is, doesn't it only work with other people who have KTM?  It's nice in raids and shit because everyone has it, but like, I doubt most level 20s or even pre-level 60s are going to be completely familiar with the concepts of THREAT and shit to the point where they would even install it, thus preventing them from showing up on your meters and making it kind of useless.  That's how it used to work, anyway, idk if they've since made it function even if everyone in the group doesn't have it installed/enabled.
