I dont know if this is worth a topic but Ive come across this problem very randomly from time to time and it is very fucking annoying so here it goes.

Why the fuck does my question mark look like this: É

And what triggers this.

And how do you stop it.

I should of known this like years ago.

Thank you.

make sure your computer's language is set to "english (united states)" (if you have anything other than xp i'm not sure where in the control panel that would be)

also, is there something sitting next to your system tray, possibly that says some other kind of language?
y/n?

It just seems to have happened to me with no warning throughout the years. And not on the same computer. I always thought it was something very simple like CAPSLOCK that I might of pressed by accident (some weird ALT SHIFT SPACE key combo or something...) .

Are you using Vista? I'm not sure about XP, but Vista has a default shortcut that scrolls through language settings and it is something left ctrl left/right arrow or something.

pretty much the only reason for that would be your language go set wrong (most likely) or the actual keyboard is damaged (unlikely if its happened over years, presuambly over different OS installs and keyboard replacements?).
yes coulombs are "germaine", did you learn that word at talk like a dick school?

Try holding right-control and backspace once when this happens. Not sure this works but it did when I had this problem in win98.
