It's kinda hard to be objective when talking about someone who we only ever really hear about through shall we say cautious minds. From what I know, he was a terrible person who failed to achieve his promises and resulted in the deaths of millions. But at the same time, while I can agree that it's somewhat true, there's also the fact that whatever we see about him in the media is bound to be prejudice as our lives are effectively governed by FOX NEWS or whatever your drug of choice may be (BBC and the Guardian for me) and they are all hyper-critical of any communist persons.
Mao is completely left out of the education system here(seriously one of the most important guys whose effect is still felt and is kinda useful to know who he is and yet is totally abandoned (likewise Lenin was mysteriously absent when I studied history at school, it was all FOCUS ON THE HUN AND HOW WE BEAT THEM! That's modern history in england in a nutshell)) and when I've looked for him it's either HIDEOUS MONSTER or much much lesser BRAVE LEADER.
It's really bad to claim ignorance on such an important guy when history is my thing and I have a strong interest in red. But more horrifying to know that unless you actually look for information on or stumble upon him in your own ways, you will not have any idea who he is in England.
Also Cheers Rajew, I forgot about Jews. I'd date anyone except a Gook and a Kike (and most likely a Goon)
