I sniff a lot, it drives everyone else nuts, and I'm trying to stop it.

I also tap the mouse on the desk when I use a computer, or tap the scroll wheel with my finger, or something.

I also play with my slinky when I'm waiting for something (usually a loading time).
Upon arriving the attending doctor could find no abnormal physical symptoms other than extremely dilated pupils. After spending several hours terrified that his body had been possessed by a demon, that his next door neighbor was a witch, and that his furniture was threatening him, Dr. Hofmann feared he had become completely insane.

i trace my fingertips along the contour of things (ie seams of clothing or couch, bricks of a wall, ears) during serious conversations. its pretty weird and often pisses the other person off.
sometimes, you need to quote yourself to feel important.

i imagine a ball bouncing around the room and try to make it bounce off all the major surfaces, sometimes i just get it off all the walls but if that's the case then i go through the rest of the building in my head. i don't really know how it starts

Holy shit, I used to do almost this exact thing when I was younger, except that it was Ghostrider riding his hellcycle in the ditch.

oh at class I always plug and unplug the tap on the rear end of the pen, continuously.

I also love having mantras. This is something I came up with by my own, I mean, apparently it is Hindu and Buddhist thing, but fuck that.
These mantras are very cool and make me feel smart.
The funny thing is that they dont usually have any substantive meaning, or actually are negative phrases that for some weird reason it makes me feel better and proud. Several are stuff I read and for some reason have some romantic significance.
Such mantras include:
"Suckerpunch"
"On his back"
"All things must pass"
"He isbring raped in prison"
"All I wanted was a cheeseburger"
"Plan your escape route"
"Listen for alarms"
"Crown"
"play easy"
etc

What exactly is a mantra? Is that kind of like a chant?

Yeah.
Am Mi Sha Ko is also considered a mantra, basically a mantra is a spoken word which holds power of any kind, even if it's jsut sentimental power.

first, I dont speak them aloud, they are just spoken in my mind.
It is not a thought because it has a focus on the sounds of the word, it just sounds aloud but in my mind.

Also I don't use them to keep focus, it has a certain motivational thing, but it is mostly an artistic, romantic thing.
