I think what suchandsuch was saying about the Green movement is that all the commercials and shit about it are annoying and everybody's trying to go GREEN like MARLBORO CIGARETTES GOING GREEN FOR BETTER AMERICA and it just seems like the fakest shit ever and when we're not looking they'll release all the pollution and radiation they were hiding like that episode of the simpsons I think

I think I mentioned in another topic it's almost as annoying as that BIG HELP thing on Nickelodeon like 10 years ago where it had good intentions but it was all shit like MAKE A BIRD FEEDER OUT OF A COFFEE CAN and cutting the plastic rings the soda/beer cans come in you know it's good and all but was the bird feeder industry really causing major environmental problems compared to like all the newspapers circulated every day and at least a bird feeder keeps the birds fed

Edit: They might've mentioned other stuff like work at a soup kitchen and ride a bike but only one of those is an environment sort of thing - I think half the commercials were just 'isn't Shamu cute' and didn't really give any good tips

People have been on about retro gaming ever since like the nes muscled it's way passed VEXTREX and PONG. It's not a fad, it's nostalgia. Like how morrons think 80's cartoons were better, or music made after 1990 is vastly inferior to all music made before.

Sarevok those gay programs have been around for years, you've just been at school during your childhood so not noticed them. There may be like on or two more since the "bargain hunt boom"(term I made up) about eight years ago when david dickinson still presented it, but that's it. It's not a fad.

they're hideous. everyone i know who wears them acknowledges they're hideous. they're also semi expensive depending on where you get them (I know people who have dropped thirty bucks on plastic pairs of these) and i can't figure out why anyone wears them. they don't function as sunglasses and they're ugly!! they're so...ironic..

steel, house programmes are things where the presenters go around with a couple and say HEY THIS HOUSE IS REALLY NICE YOU SHOULD BUY IT and then offer like 4 different houses and then the couple says THESE ARE ALL SHIT WE BOUGHT THIS INSTEAD. or they are 'doing up' their house to sell it and they always look really terrible. i dunno if you guys get these crocks of shit over there, but it's not 'house' the comedy
