It is pretty universally accepted that the MGS4 installs were stupid.  Installing a game is fine and I have done it on PC for years but it is outrageous that you can't install the whole thing at once.  It is super inconvenient if your friend plays and like you have half an hour to game before bed and you have to reinstall the same thing you had just installed 12 hours ago.  I think the game never uses more than 5 gigs or whatever out of your hard drive at one time, and that the whole install is actually only 25 gigs or something?  I mean it's super huge but I want to have the option to install all of it if I want to.

I hope so because then I'd have virtually no reason to buy a ps3

maaaan, no joke. i've been wanting to play this forever, and the only way is if they put it on a 360 or something. i heard you can get the same effect by watching youtube videos for all the cutscenes though!

In a serious note, I'm calling it to be a Metal Gear Acid game for the iPhone.  The ! is the symbol for Metal Gear Ac!d.  i is quite clearly for the iPhone, and I am pretty sure that same power on symbol is on the iPhone.  Just because it is green doesn't mean MGS4 for XBox 360.

From what I saw, the initial install for Act 1 clocked in much closer to ten minutes, not two.

Metal gear is awsome guys I like all of them even tho they are tom clancy as hell

mgs4 was ok. also yea lol the loading times were much closer to 10 minutes than 2. i only played it at a bros house (can't afford a ps3) but continually installing would get annoying.

i don't know if they were 30 minutes but some came close IIRC.
