no he's not! Jimmy is a reporter at the Daily Planet. it even says SUPERMAN'S PAL dude.

in the non-canonical stuff from way back there was some dumb SUPERMAN FAMILY shit with Supermaid etc and in a recent arc called the Third Kryptonian he and Lois sort of adopted a kid named Chris but he's gone now and was "a cousin from out of state".

also that maggie ep is in sixth season. after he finds out marge is pregnant again homer has to beg for his old job back, and burns puts up a sign: Don't Forget, You're Here Forever. and at the end Bart is like "yeah but where are Maggie's pictures?" and homer says "they're where I need them most"

no I've read it. it's a one shot where if I remember right Superman overhears Jimmy saying JEEZ WOULDN'T BE GREAT TO BE HIS SON and Superman's all HEH I'LL SHOW HIM...

they never got legally adopted. plus all of that is precrisis, meaning it's part of a universe that has now been squashed into nonexistence.

the old superman covers are usually misleading anyway. I have about 40 of them, so I don't know they had an actual story, but pretty much all I own aren't connected in anyway to anything. Hey lemme give Lois my powers. These powers are too much, have them back, I appreciate you Superman. end.

From Wikipedia:

"Malone is politically Republican."

EPIC FAIL!

No wonder most Blacks vote Democratic; if the best role-models the GOP can come up with are stingy , mean-spirited fuckwads like Malone or right-wing loons like Keyes and Thomas, they'll never make serious inroads.

man now i want to see these episodes. i never really ever got into the simpsons...it was always a sort of "if i flick to the channel" thing although i know mostly everyone from the simpsons. but now i'm sad because these sound like decent episodes...

here's a spoiler for Lisa and the Substitute; Lisa corners Mr. Bergstrom as he's on his way out of town and says "you can't leave...you're the first teacher who's ever believed in me" and he says "listen Lisa, if you ever, ever doubt yourself, read what's on this note; I think it'll help you no matter what as long as you don't forget it", and he leaves on a train, and Lisa opens the note, and in one of the show's best moments, you see it says "You are Lisa Simpson."

the same guy wrote the dialogue for Homer when he was going in for a quadruple bypass, where Homer can't tell his kids how he feels so they each take turns whispering in his ear what the other should hear. do not watch this ep when you have cancer, the part where bart whispers and homer says "but no matter what happens, you've got a big brother who's always watching out for you" had my lower lip trembling like a bitch and me looking at the ceiling muttering "must be *sniff* a leak in this house, I got water on my face"

but back on topic in another recent ep Homer paid Will Shortz (in the most belabored stretch of a celebrity cameo yet) to embed a "im a dummy sorry" message into Lisa's crossword puzzles. idk if you ignore the cartoon violence, Homer is a better father than some people's ACTUAL DADS. remember when K0LE said MY DAD USED TO BURN ME WITH A CIGARETTE AND SOLD A WATCH SO I COULD HAVE BASIC MEDICAL CARE...HE'S THE BEST?

K0LE's dad needs to be on this list.
