Hi there. I am looking for some good MMORPGS to play, and I would prefer that there is no accompanying fee to play online; but if the game is good enough to pay a fee for, then that's ok. I used to play WoW a lot, and it was pretty fun, but I believe I am tired of it now. I used to play Runescape, but now I don't know why because the game sucks. Here are a few guidelines for recommendations:

- Do not suggest WoW, Tibia, Runescape, Everquest, Fly FF, Maple Story, or Guild Wars. Either I didn't like the game, or I became tired of it after so much playing.
- I prefer MMORPGs that are have a fantasy setting, and not something like a Star Wars MMO.

I suppose that's about it, recommend away!

MMORPGs in general are pretty uninspired right now, and if you're looking for a F2P MMORPG that doesn't suffer from crap game play and senseless grinds... You're going to end up sorely disappointed.

If you want a fisher price version of WoW, than Warhammer Online might be up your alley, Omcifer.

The new cartoon network MMO comes out in I think January, but I think the mechanics sound pretty stupid.

Part of it will be free though, so you might look into that.

The Chronicles of Spellborn
It's free to try up to lv7. I like it more and more, but I have a strange taste so...
it's still a bit rough around the edges, but it can only become better :P

Also if you try it, got to the Int PVP server (don't remember the name) cause that's where
all the cool people hang. Look for a newbie named Reverie, and you've found me.

I'll add screens later.

Ragnarok, the free version.

Second Life has greatly improved in the amount of decent RPGs hosted within it's world:

Furcadia is more socialising but a 'programming' language does exist:

I really don't know what to say after someone makes a serious suggestion that Furcadia is a good game.

I’ve played my fare share of MMORPG’s and well you have already mentioned a fair few that I have played in your "do not recommend list" apart from Dungeons and Dragons Online which I only recently stopped playing due to insufficient time. D&D Online is different from allot of regular MMORPG’s... you don’t necessarily grind mobs to gain exp/levels, its more quest oriented and grouping is really required if you want to advance. At the moment the max level is 16 so you wont be too far behind anyone, I know how much of a pain it is looking for groups at low levels.. They will be raising the level soon enough I believe.

There is allot of customisation with your look, skills, spells est. and its one off the only MMORPG’s I have played which has properly setup a decent system allowing you to become a hybrid in any class available from a cleric/sorcerer to a warrior/rogue or if you are old fashioned you may just choose to stick with one specific class. Its only downfall which I can think off is its limit with the amount of races you can choose from, a total of 6. It isn’t however free to play and there is a monthly fee.

I'm trying Florensia out, so far I like it and there isnt much of a grind, but them in only level 11. You can get ships and level up on land or sea and so far it looks like it might be fun, might.
